You are teaching me some very important basic things about moving both hands that I previously thought I could never master. Your teaching style is so down to earth I don't feel intimidated. Thanks
@cliponutube They are not the same. There are three groups of major scale fingerings, Db is in group 2, and has a different fingering then group 1 scales.
Thanks this really helped. I learned it all in one day, just a little slow with the Parallel Movement one though. But I'll keep doing it & i'm sure ill get it down. Thanks!
Great video. I'm curious, however, about the fingerings for other scales that use a lot of black keys such as the F# major scale or even a C minor scale.
@ninjastep87 Yeah I was wondering about that too. You do the same thing. Sets of three's & four's although it's more challenging than playing in Cmaj. You'll get there as long as you practice.
This is same way as I teach! Leading hand does 3, following hand does 3, leading hand does 4, following hand does 4, etc Then same going down. Good teaching!
i am a beginner, day1, and this was amazing, you covered so much but explained it real well. i have a really good feelings about this. thanks for the post!
May the Lord continue to look watch over you and all u do and may you remember Him all the days of your bleesed life. God bless you for doing this you don't know how much of a help this is. Thank you again David
I can't hold my pinky finger down without my ring finger joining it in my right hand. But I can do it in my left hand. I think this effects my playing with my right hand. Does anyone else have this problem?
Because since its the last note in the iteration, the pinkie is the easiest finger to use here. No need for unnecessary crossovers (which are difficult to carry out)
I'm having a hard time with playing (diminished/augmented) scales on other roots like Dflat fast, seems like the crossover feels very unnatural on D(flat root)
Thank you for your demonstration. It is very clear and precise. Also your unique T-shirt reminds me of the red tie I used to wear when I was a "young pioneer" in my motherland.
I wonder everytime how complete u're making the tutorials, from notes and scales,to the right seat position and how to play by ear. I love it! You give every one the chance to learn it for free and without leaving home.Thank you
Thank you my friend!! I was looking everywhere for this!! The thumbnail picture helped a lot

David, you helped me a lot. I can't afford to hire a piano teacher and I'm quite a slow learner. Thank you so much for your tutorials.

But seriously quite gay. No offence.
