It's sad really, I don't see why Maynard finds it needed to wear a wig at times, because I personally find this music beautiful and insightful at times. People do some stupid things, but sometimes you gotta break loose and have some fun. But Maynard being a God? Heh, no. Him and Billy are just insight wise men, who should only be respected as such.
@DrCornFlakes The wigs are to keep at least a bit of anonymity. I think he's either past that or it didn't work as well as he was hoping cause I'm pretty sure he doesn't wear them much anymore.
@TRodS85 I just saw him on David Letterman the other night, and he was dressed up pretty bad, and I know all through APC's tour earlier this year he was dressed up for every show. I undersatnd why he does it, and I gain a lot of respect for why he does it. I would just think that maybe he would want his son to find out on his own or something.
maynard is nothing more than a man, not a god, he doesnt turn shit into gold. enjoy the music. thats always what he wanted people to do, not to idolize him. Stop sitting around trying to figure out who maynard is, he knows what lies inside himself, and use this music to figure yourselves out. If this music doesnt personally help you get to another level then you should find whatever takes you to that next step.
