I wonder if there will come a time when those who voted for prop 8 in CA will sit in their homes and as they watch the protests on TV and the Worldwide Backlash it generated and think to themselves, "Maybe I was wrong.
I wonder if they have the intelligence to figure it out. Suppression is wrong. Discrimination is wrong. Equality is right. If they voted FOR prop 8, they need to understand that they voted for suppression and discrimination and that they voted against equality. End of story.

To Mattdeig: People told Black Americans to be quite and follow "the rules" too in their long struggle for civil rights. People told women to stay in the home and away from the voting booths in their long struggle for the vote. Society has a history of oppressing minorities (throughout all time periods). We will work and fight for equal and fair treatment. Glib comments like yours only make our resolve stronger. Peace and equality!

You lost the election, people. Time to move on. You don't see Republicans protesting outside of Starbucks do you? Get back to work.
