It cracks me up all the trouble the director went through to get people to see his movie. Like a child who tries to get everyone to come see the crap he just made in the toilet.
'Manos' was recently on 'Elviras Movie Macabre'; obviously, Joel and the Bots are much funnier than Elvira. There is a nasty scene involving the Master killing the first wife by beating her that was not on the MST3K version that looked pretty shocking by 1960's standards. It would have been in this block.
So first she cries that she wants to leave, then she cries because she doesn't want to go any farther and says they should go back.....ok, I am officially rooting for the bad guys.
