  • why did i get caught up in this stuff in the fisrt place!...AHHHH low blood sugar moment now on to EMO bashing

  • I am not affluent. I'm low-income.

    We are NOT planting butterfies.

We're planting native plants that local pollinators (bees, butterflies) thrive on.

We're making butterfly houses for protection from birds and others that would eat them etc. and as safe resting place during long migration.

The wild rice was not planted for immediate food.

It was planted to restore the crop that was destroyed by humans. Those plants are creating more plants.

  • OMG do you really think it will help to plant butterflies to save bees stopping playing god and minimize consumption of EVERYTHING. you sound very affluent to me at least making 35,000per year soooo don't try to match wits about the planet stuff fads come and go. a ton rice would not last as long as you think

  • By the way - what's origin of your name.

I found similar names on internet in attempt to understand your point of view.

Plebeians were middle or lower class (poor) Romans.

Another definition - a member of the freshman class of U.S. Military and Naval academies.

  • just as thought playing the card of bliss as for the allegations of anger....well freedom of speech as expected touche' really take a look in the most remote parts of the world...see it!!!!just the way the rich and powerful want to see it TWO WHISPERS IN THE UNIVERSE blithering. you know and i know how the problem will be shrunk down.

  • first mistake videoing in front a building with aluminum, polyurethane varnish..should i go on...the plastics, paper, polyester, polycarbonate, toxic chemicals to maintain the building and personal hyigene restoring rice something or another. fuel to get to these places...purist NO a good effort...MEH...i would be impressed by purist not band wagoneers. somebody is profiting for this movement and it is not planet earth. i said it THERE!!!!!

  • Hope you feel better - as your tone indicates lots of anger.

We aren't here to "impress" - that's not our goal - just a group of people volunteering to protect the environment.

The building is the city of Marquette

    Pavilion along Lake Superior.

Nobody profited financially from the environment projects. We are 100 percent volunteer.

The teens planted over a ton of wild rice walking hundreds of miles to remote lakes.

Adults/college students recycled over 370 tons of hazardous waste.

  • Stay tuned - and please watch our upcoming videos.

We will soon have videos on this year's pollinators project - planting over 26,000 native plants and building butterfly houses to provide protection.

This because honeybees are dying by the billions.

"Plebebiansrule," we wish you well even if you choose to criticize.

May you have a wonderful day filled with fresh air, clean water and lots of friends.

I hope you find some productive ways to help protect our planet.

  • foolishness. its the homo-sapiens prepensity to filth up the place(planet earth)think about it...sheesh!

  • Wow thanks for this info. Interesting stuff!!!

  • good vid

  • Thank you for all the comments in the past two days.

I encourage everyone to also check out the you tube site MunisingWhiteHorse aka Trutle Island Project - also interfaith, environmental and saying respect all religions and the teachings of earth-based cultures like Native American and the Celts in Scotland.

You can find it easily doing keyword search like Michigan Turtle Island Project etc.

  • Now this is an actual demonstration of the love talked about in the teachings of Jesus Christ.(not to the exclusion of the teachings of the other communities represented in earth keepers)

    WHAT AN INSPIRATION!!!

    Miigwetch, Patrick

  • Every community should do this around the world:)

  • 5*****'s! Very cool. We clearly need a whole lot more groups like this in the world! Proving it can actually work. Inspiring! Thanks for posting it up!

    ~ Tim

    Peace,

    Allen

  • Big RESPECT, this shows that we CAN make a difference!

  • I lift my hat to you all! Actions speak's!

  • There was so much I didn't know...especially about the drugs. How can one start something like this in their community?

  • Wonderful Idea, I wish they would do more things like this everywhere!

  • That's a covenant the everyone can believe and should participate in similar effort everywhere*****

More power to good-natured Jesus-like beings engaging in projects like Earth Keepers.

  • This most definitely needs to be done country wide. I understand that some other countries cannot afford some of these efforts, but America can afford to support this. TY.

  • If every community around the world could make this difference - lets think how much a better place the Earth really would be.

  • You said it well bro flo!
