  • Please, Jimmy is not good here...only Robert is genial.

  • Robert Plant is genius

  • Jimmy is ripping this gal's heart out...... again! ...but it feels SO good.

  • this is just great music, incredible voice ... tea for dwoga

  • I saw the Page /Plant show when it came to Australia in 1995/96. Pagey looked older than Methuselah but was playing quite well compared to the ARMS concert period when the smack had killed his chops/health completely.

  • No words for the Led Zeppelin , nothing compares them.

  • Jimmy Page solo is fantastic.

  • Robert Plant!!!!!!!

  • Robert Plant is so perfect and Jimmi too.

  • i have studied guitars and guitarists for alot of yrs but page's style and taste just takes me in like noone else's . I don't claim to now who is the best but I sure know who I like the most

  • sweet solo by Jimmy......love him...♥

  • I was almost 3 years old back then, and now I listen to this song and think " I should have been born 20 years earlier. "

  • .......or deaf!

  • People who think Mr. Lee is not as good as Bonham are probably not musicians and may also be high on acid.

  • @ClaudiaSwagg He WAS (rest in peace) a very good drummer, but not even close to mr. Bonham.

  • Thank you so much for this. This is one of my all time favorites and I don't think they played it live in Zeppelin. Also, not in the Page / Plant shows that I saw, so it's great to hear and see it live. Never been another musician that cuts through me body and soul like Jimmy Page.

  • Now tell me Jeff Beck's the Worlds Best Guitarist after such a stunning performance fro Jimmy!

  • ♪♫•*¨*•.¸¸❤¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪

  • Gusto Gem Guitar.

    *Page&*Plant-*Phenomenal Piece.

    Majestic Melody.

  • @Emilyplays1: oh no shitt? That sucks. Well I honestly didn't like his performance.I don't think he matched up to bonhams pace. But yeah if you're out there playing for one of the greatest bands, that does mean you're good

  • Overweight Jimmy are you kidding.. where? He looks fine. The best singer and guitarist ever, milk & honey together.

  • how good is the guitar at the start?! wow! so great! I mean the opening riff. Just try to get your guitar to sound like that.

  • is very bad! horrible! the original is the best song of presence but this version is bad...

  • does any1 knows if they ever played this live on the LedZep days, I have a bunch of bootlegs, either low quality or high quality but never seen this on their setlist.

  • @hoshmack i dont think so. i believe they played the intro multiple times but it always led into another song. kinda like bring it on home's intro.

  • @mjchopper54 yeah. but it's kinda weird aye?

  • Is that overweight ? Still plays well though !

  • i think this was before Page got into recovery he looks so fucked and over weight and out of it man,, just struggling with everything,,

  • who is this drummer ?,, its not jason is it ?

  • That drummer just made this song sound like shitt. Honestly!! How the fukk can Jimmy and Robert hire that idiot as a drummer?? Really really :-(

  • @LaDr0n3 I think he's a pretty damn good drummer man. He did stuff up that transition at the start into the slow bit but I've seen heaps of his performances. He's awesome! His name is Michael Lee. His real name is Michael Jackson but he used his middle name (Lee) for obvious reasons probably. He died early like Bonham. I think he was 40 when he died about 6 years ago.

  • This is a rare treat, for I don't know of Led Zep \ever playing it live in concert.

  • Most fantastical version; just wow-ing my soul. Jimmy Page and Robert Plant what a pair of magnificent talented BEings. Makes your heart scream out because it reaches within and squeezes it to pieces. Ummmmmm. ENJOY Birthday Boy; for your own mastery of the guitar = these luscious beings. To be at a live concert right now listening to these magnificent BEings; celebrating your birthday; would be something I would WILL TO BE. :-))) XXXOOO Yep for sure. :-)))

  • What's that light drum sound,it's like a tin can LOL!

I miss Bonzo, the beast from black country, the hammer of the gods.

  • Only 47123 views, huh? Nice going. This is gold right here. Your loss, people who didn't watch this.

  • Blues Alive...!!!

  • It's like he poured his soul out all over the stage, I'm surprised he could stand after that....

  • One of the best works of Led Zeppelin!

  • Thanks. There won't be anybody like them...

  • hello their , anybody want to put the full show on youtube , please zep fan !!!

    thank a lot

  • Jimmy letting it all hang out. Presence is one of Jimmy's favorite albums. Recorded and produced in 3 weeks. Critics thought Jimmy was out of his mind on smack but it turned out to be his best record of guitar playing. Between Tea for One, Nobody's Fault But Mine and Achilles Last Stand let there be no doubt that Jimmy was still the God in 76. Very nice touch for them to include this live in95 and to remember For Your Life in 2007 at the Zep Reunion.

  • Finally found the accurate TAB book for this album. Pagey is letting the orchestra handle the more basic rhythm parts. The tune has 2 to 3 stacked guitars going, a bit impossible to play live. Sounds simple but some of his structures are quite difficult one reason live he might often flub a phrase but these recordings are masterworks. Such a treat to see this live, I am so shocked to see it here on YT. Shows some of the genius and unique playing of Maestro Jimmy.

  • Badass, but... where is JPJ ?

  • The thing to love about Jimmy is he plays loose and is not afraid to flub a note, he is not perfect but who is able to compose and invent amazing pieces like this one. I have played some mean blues in my day but never some of the cool simple chord hangs and shifts he does, simple but just genius. Best of all time! I wonder if the drummer got a band meeting after this missing some ques, what if it was Achilles Last Stand? Another killer tune off Presence, do check it out, my all time fav.

  • undeslikable!

  • A lot of comments on Bonamassa's cover of this tune. That was a studio take where this is live. Jimmy overdubbed as many as 6 guitars on this studio version on Presence. What a treat here to see him cop it live, just killer. Live long Jimmy, you are top of the mountain.

  • There are few words to express the talent these guys brought to popular music. If this song doesn't express the lonliness and desperation of being on the road away from your loved ones....what does? How appropriate to have an orchestra supplement the man who made a guitar band sound orchestral with its layers, sonic improvisations, dynamics, and sheer power. Thanks Jimmy....you are the All-Time best rocker this planet has ever known! Great job by Michael Lee on the kit and Charlie Jones on bass.

  • No one compares to Page. If you dont believe me just look up the Ahmet Ertegun concert in the Guinness book of world record. No other guitarist has ever done that...

  • Don't just shut up and listen, FEEL it!!

  • Tahnk you much for posting! awesome!

  • Striking composition by Jimmy Page.....Wow!

  • ZEPPELIN BLUES WILL ALWAYS BE IN A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN !! JIMMY TRULY PLAYED FROM THE HEART !! HE DID NOT HAVE TO BE PERFECT BUT HIS SKILL ALLOWED HIM TO GET THERE ON THE GUITAR WHERE OTHERS DARED NOT GO !! THIS AND STILL LOVING YOU WERE HIS " BEST BLUES" !! MY FAVORITES !! PERIOD !!

  • robert plant!!!

  • Some songs stand the test of time !! THIS SONG REMAINS THE SAME !!!

  • When I was 10 years old in 1978, all I wanted to be when I grew up was Jimmy Page. Now I'm 43... and I still want to be Jimmy Page when I grow up. :)

  • @maskounes I stil want and try f0r 20 years. 3 wifes now that I like LZ .... but fingers of Page is Page's fingers

  • @maskounes When I was 14 and ditto.

  • one simple word to describe this song......Beautiful.

  • that.was.fucking.awesome.

  • Jimmy is lost in the music on this one....precious. This is for you Babe...

  • Thanks for posting this. I needed this. Zeppelin Rules.

  • the shirt Robert Plant's wearing is for the Egyptian Legend "Mohamad Abd El Wahab"..he was a great musician in the early 30's ...he died at the early 90's...may he rest in peace...i fuckin love u Robert...greetings from Egypt ..Peace :)

  • Bad. No, I actually mean bad in terms of that this was Jimmy pissed out of his head again and couldn't be bothered (I met him 2 months ago in Brighton and heard the same from him). The backing players had put a lot of effort into hoping he would play at least somewhere close to the studio version.

  • What an awesome, delirious, melancholy blues rant this is...makes me hope for cloudy heavens and rainy skies...which we don't have too much here.

  • I think Robert's voice was last good, live, in '71. It was already dead for most of Zep's concerts after then.

  • I've alway love this song, none of my friends never went this deep into Zepp like I was. I'm 43 years old now nd still loving this song!

  • Go Jimmy!

  • i saw page and plant in 96 in boston, they kicked ass, but they didnt play this, this is friggin great!!!!

  • Page...thanks for perfect soundtracks to sex

  • Two things:

    1. This is amazing. I saw Page & Plant 1995 and they didn't play this song.

    2. RIP Michael Lee.

  • God, I love Page.

  • Chuck Norris must have been the only guy in the world capable of dislikin' this...He knew that this was way more kickass than him.

  • Drummer starts out too fast, then fucks up lol

  • @22ness0hayden - nobody's perfect you schwantz

  • Zep changes music like no other!!!!

  • This is why Jimmy is God.

  • LÁGRIMAS INSISTEM EM SAIR DE MEUS OLHOS, ROLAM PELO MEU ROSTO, INDO DE ENCONTRO A MAGIA DAS NOTAS MUSICAIS, EXTRAÍDAS COM TANTA SUTILEZA DE SUA GUITARRA, JIMMY PAGE...

  • @manthega2 QUE LINDO E EMOCIONANTE COMENTÁRIO, MENINO DO RIO DE DEZEMBRO. I LOVE JIMMY PAGE TOO!

BJUS MILES A QUEM POSTOU E A VC ÍDEM!

    MAGA-LEE :-))

  • Jimmy Page,,,,,I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Que belleza,,, por DIOS....

    Eternamente e infinitamente

    Gracias Jimmy & Robert ....

  • I could listen to this song all day, every day. Jimmy is so effin awesome. Plant sings this song with such feeling. And Jimmy pours his heart & soul into the music. Total Genius.

  • @Yankeedant I agree, there aren't many better than Jimmy Page at playing with such feeling and angst and intensity; he really lives every note here.

I think he was one of the best composers in rock; this is a sublime blues with a tinge of rock.

  • 4:22...absolutely amazing!!!

  • one of the most underrated songs they did. rainy day, a bottle of wine and the day goes by...

  • @killerbob91 In my opinion every song zep pieced together was UNDERRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sublimeee! alguien sabe donde puedo bajar esa version de la cancion en mp3?

    LED.Z naum e ROCK e um HINO!!!!

  • Beautiful mon cheire painted like a water colour....light and shade

  • nada melhor que led ops ana ser the doors

  • It is a sad song because they recorded it when Plant`s son died . : (

  • @visco57 - No, this was recorded before Plant's song died. It was recorded after his car accident, when he was in a wheelchair.

  • Freeking Awesome .... clean audio thank you!!

  • jusy LOVELY !!!

  • awesome show!!

  • Michael Lee certainly does a worthy job drumming.

  • ギター低いねえw

  • this is great. listen this when you are sad works better than a lot of therapys.

  • @Raisnghavoc Actually, because ticket prices for a reunion tour would probably be outrageous, I think I would prefer if they released a CD/DVD package of the O2 show. I have a bootleg which sounds terrible but I can tell that Plant never sounded better and it contains the best live version of Kashmir I've heard. (The Plant/Page version I'm not counting because of the totally different arrangement. It is really good too though.)

  • @Raisnghavoc That's my point; they were Zep again, whether they liked it or not. I even have a tour shirt that says, "The Second Coming". They shouldn't have done any Zep songs if that's what they wanted. JPJ had every right to be pissed off. Plant will do anything and sing anything as long as it doesn't say Led Zeppelin even if it is. That's fine, I don't care if they called it Plant, Page, Jones & Bonham. They just need to do it before another one of them passes away.

  • Fantástico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is great! Love it! Never understood why they didn't invite JPJ though. Who did they think they were fooling? I also wonder why Page's Les Pau'ls always lacked sustain.

  • My favorite song!!!!! My favorite Hero Jimmy Page. Thanks

  • yea, songs brilliant....but man, what about Roberts hair. A man of his age has no business having hair prettier them mine.

  • imagine bonzo playing to this, it would be so powerful RIP

  • My absolute favorite song ever. Thank you for sharing this. I went to see Page/Plant in the following year, and they did NOT perform this that year ;) Thank you so much! Immortal.
