the arrangements for two acoustic guitars are good, but as dorak8 says, you needn't imitate Dylan's voice. You must let your heart and soul form the voice, not let the mind do it. If you sing and play with all your soul, it gives an unconscious surplus, if you know what i mean

How did you turn a 3 minute song into a 6 minute song?

I really like the guitars, the harmonies are brilliant. I liked the little african drumming break. Not sure about the vocals though man, although I could see you were enjoying yourself you didnd't have that Dylan factor in your voice that really makes a dylan cover good.

musically, great job. you guys need more emotion in your voice. People like to write dylan off immediately for being a poor singer, but he is really great if you learn to appreciate it(not saying at all that you dont). No longing or yearning in your voice, which is what i think makes it so great. check out Sophie B. Hawkins' version. It explains what i mean better than words ever could. Really great guitar playing, though.

I'll have to take a listen to that version, but I think I know what you are talking about. Dylan might not have the prettiest voice, but it is full of emotion and can really make a song with little intricate emphasizes on various words can really influence the feeling and meaning of a song.

Easier said than done tho haha. We are working and I think we are slowly but surely improving,thanks for the advice.

Actually, most singers don't understand their own songs, and thus are trying to sing as beautifuly as possible in order to sound cool. But what matters to Dylan, is the song himself, its ideas : regardless if the voice sounds cool, it must sounds true and touch the heart. For my part, I've always considered Dylan's voice like a great indian.
