  • Question I just moved to a new area any pointers in finding like minded people who have or are willing to join together to create retreat or community defense

  • why not put 2 positions in behind the one and have a small barracks with guns equipped with night optics and extra ammo and maybe 2 to 4 troops that r ammo carriers and one hi round gun to cover the others incase of retreat or covering fire

  • hey man your vids are awesome, when I get back from the war you got a contact in NE...

  • is this guy talking about the military or a neighborhood lol?

  • yeah southernprepper, you rock! i found you a few days ago and half almost been watching you none stop. your smart and are a great prepper. thanks alot for your vids. incase you read this im curious i have a 10/22 ruger and im looking into my next gun now, im thinking maybe a hand gun or maybe just a more powerful rifle. if you, or anyone else for that matter has any imput i would absolutley love to hear it.

  • This is so much more informative than anything I have watched, read, or heard in anything outside of the field manuals I have scanned through. Thanks!

  • Great job if you can find any the intrusion detecting set AN/PSR-1A is a great thing to have they use seismometer to detect footsteps and vehicles

  • Don't forget ducks and geese they can be trained to scream bloody murder if people get close! the one electronic devise other then TX\RX system is NVG. I try to avoid to many high tech items, but this is one case I spent money on. if just one DA washed his clothes in detergent. which is full of brighteners they will glow like a light bulb at night! defeating thermal is a little harder but it can be done if you know a few tricks to over come it's operating spectrums. best to never be found!

  • It might be a good idea to build your defense in the good times. Hiring a small backhoe is cheap right now. I would suggest disguising it as landscaping and drainage. When I was a teenager I worked in landscaping a little. We did amazing things with the natural materials that were local to the site or nearby and free.

Also, the right plants can even stop a truck or hinder movement of persons. Of course they take a few years to grow up so plant them ASAP.

  • Excellent videos! Thanks. I'm ex mil, but these make it easier to teach others what to do, and to remind myself. I have great respect for people that take the time to freely give out very valuable knowledge. Thanks again. You are saving many lives!

  • FO also works, normally used in the 105 and 81 mm section,( Infantry) All they do is find and watch the enemy (with out getting caught of corse) and call it in using the S.A.L.U.T.E method. Night and Day Positions. can be used to warn or prepare your defense. for atack.

  • What I like about your videos is that you cover one topic at a time and keep it short/sweet. You keep each one to the point and line-by-line with your note sheet. Very organized. I hope as you add new videos on the same topic e.g. defence, you can get into a bit more detail to build upon the first video after we learn and digest the previous one. Personally, I learn better if I get a chance to think about it for a while. Later

  • Well, you answered my previous question here. Thank you Sir.

  • Radios with privacy codes, or field phones will limit the movement of personal. Making it harder for the enemy to know about your defenses and how they interlock.

Make sure fields of fire interlock/overlap. Use sticks to mark each positions field of fire.

If you can funnel the enemy into you high capacity weapons.

    Semper Fi

  • LPOP works/ i was in the Army 76-79 62nd Eng and we would practice every month and i was on a backpack radio at night and a whole squad walked right past me and i called it in and they got nailed

  • Man, this is good stuff. Hard to put into thought in my suburban area I live at, single family housing with homes 30' apart wall to wall. On base near me, they have what looks like jacks ( old kids game kind) that are welded and about 3 foot in diameter. Hate to try and drive over them.

  • Thanks for the good advise I will do this ....thanks

  • you should use a white board and draw these things out...no one is doing this on you tube
