man i have a problem when opening terminal

when i open it, it tells me: ("There was an error creating the child process for this terminal")

Sooo... Terminal is something like Command.

Well sorta command line is like asking "where do you wanna go to day" and terminal is like asking "where do you wanna go how fast do you wanna go when do you wanna get there bus or plane or car or walking or bike and what you want to there ect."

Hey i would really appreciate if u would respond to me cause i really need some help and know one will help me!!! wht happened was i was in the loggin sessions and in my home folder where it says name/bin/home or something like tht!! my name got changed one letter from a c to a k and now i cant loggin my ubuntu it says user doesnt exist!! So wht do i type into terminal to change it back to the way it sould be!! and i also cant loggin with root cause i never set it up!!! thx!
