amazing, i've been trying to do the same thing but stuck on the frets solution. i'm reading each string as analog input but have the resistors serially connected with each fret, not in parallel, which makes it problematic. could you share your circuit and maybe part of the sketch too? up till now i'm reading the fretboard as a big pot, and map the resistance to the number of frets, then passing all this through serial to a vb piece of software i wrote, sending MIDI to any software synth :D
@agentro I am posting all of my work on GuitArduino-dot-com. I have somewhat abandoned this for the meantime. Instead I might be dividing the frets up into 6 sections like a guitorgan. Check out the blog though that has almost everything I am doing and more detailed. The schematic is on the page and there is a copy of the code that I posted in a comment section of the page.
