my friend just told me about you on youtube. not trying to sound gay but it is so nice to have someone do makeup tutorials who has eyes like mine. i am half white and half asian...blonde hair, green eyes, white skin, asian face and eyes. i was just explaining to someone why i had to do my eyeliner the way i do and then i saw your video and you do it the same exact way. sweet! p.s. grew up in so cal most of my life and now that i don't live there, i miss the food. cali has the best restaurants!

I can officially say I have watched all of your videos now. Whenever I feel stressed or down, your videos lift my spirit. You remind me that there is so much beauty in the world. I don't appreciate the small things, & that is what I am motivated to do after I watch you. It seems like you are always smiling, laughing, & having fun... no matter what you're doing. I hate when people think all of California is L.A. I hate L.A., it's a soul sucking city, and has almost nothing to do with the northern part of the state. I'm in San Jose, and it drives me nuts that people think my life is like MTVs the Hills, or whatever.

I don't get to the beach much, but you can;t keep me out of the ocean. I like the cold, I run really hot so it feels amazing. I miss boogie boarding, used to do that a lot.

NorCAL! Wooo hooo we're so spoiled here, we've got amazing weather and access to every climate within 2 hours any direction, snow, desert, beach, woods.... I love being from Northern California :)

I'm from So Cal and I love it here! I live somewhere in between Los Angeles and San Diego. I can easily drive to both places and I love being able to go to concerts or events because LA and San Diego are popular spots. I have lived in Northern Cali but it wasn't to my liking, I lived in Sacramento. Although I did love San Francisco, but it's expensive to live there. Now I'm looking to move out of the state although I don't want to... I can't afford living in Cali anymore :(

As you can tell by my name, I have a slight obsession with someone there. :-) And yes, we really do have great sushi. I have a great place within walking distance from my house.  I was a little hesitant my first visit, but since then I was so happy I took the plunge.

i was born here in cali specifically san diego grew up in that county so instead of disney i grew up going to wild animal park, legoland and the san diego zoo oh and of course my fave SEA WORLD!!!! i love penguins :] and all the animals there

I'm from Maine but now I live in Southern California.. more specifically San Diego.. so the most southern part of CA you can live in haha. Minus the intense heat, I LOVE living here! Super close to the ocean, great food, great things to do. I heard San Fran is nice too but CRAZAY expensive! I'd love to visit soon! My bfs brother lives there.

i live in the philippines but i go to so.cal at least once a year. i love it there :) it takes 15 mins to see the beach even if i dont take the interstate, theres amazing asian and mexican food, and i love the weather!

I get the same thing. I'm originally from upstate NY and when I tell people that they automatically think the city. Or Brooklyn. Or Queens... Or when I say Upstate they think Westchester which is about an hour outside of NYC... New York is an entire state. Not just the island. Upstate is very different from the city. Obviously. We don't have New York "accents". It's not all country either. I lived about 3 hours north of the city.. I've only been there twice the 22 years I've lived in NY.

I'm from southern cali, and I'm so jealous of you! I always wanted to go up north! The closest I've gotten is Soarin' at Ca. Adventures. I get the same thing too you know asked if I live by movie stars and stuff. And honestly you don't even really see any aha. And my favorite things about California: Disneyland, In-N-Out, and Cactus cooler aha....seriously though. But I do love all of California, there's so much more to it than the typical stereotype.

It's all so true! I love living in Oakland for all the great restaurant sand activities, plus I'm only 10-15 minutes away from the Alameda "beach". LOVES IT! The cost of living is bogus, but it's not for nothin'!
