There seems to be sum confusion as to Wat this book is about it is set in the present and planit earth has been taken over by aliens called souls they are inserted into a hosts brain in this case humans are the hosts wanderer is the soul that is placed into Melanie usually the all that is left of the host are memories but Melanie fights and manages to stay and convinces wanderer to leave her home and go to look for Melanie's brother Jamie and her love jared wanderer goes and finds more humans t

This doesn't show what the book is about, which I didn't read but is suppose to be about a demon who wants to take over the girls body as "the host" and how she refuses to allow this demon to take her over and therefore she is one of the only humans left not possesed by a demon.

@AwakeningtoMe actully its about an unseen alien species that uses humans bodies as hosts. Basically what is supposed to happen is the human mind is repressed and in a way erased and the alien soul takes over completely. There are no demons. Me besically is to stong to just let go and Wanderer stuggles with it. She is moved by Mels memories and emotions. Mel has an alien soul inside her, but she is the only human left in the sence that she refuses to dissapear.

@rplove321 It's set in a fictional universe in which "hosts" are inserted into human bodies. They are basically alien souls that need to be in some sort of living shell to survive. The soul of the human than fades away and disappears, but one human soul refuses to do so. It's better than twilight but still pretty poorly written.
