Honestly this is the only thing that worked. I'd recommend downloading it running it and then going for a walk or something for 30 mins. Because i didn't have to do a single thing after starting it, it automatically rebooted my cpu for me. Virus seems to be gone

@mrhanover I got some kind of Google redirect virus and when I looked in the taskmanager I found 3 to me unrecognized processes. If the process has the same Description as Filename I find it suspicious. I think one was called LP.exe. All of them were located in different folders under Program Files (x86). In the taskmanager, rightclick and choose Properties to find out where the program is located. KILL and DELETE. The programs were also added to Autostart so I removed them via msconfig.exe

I tried running Combofix and it appeared to work but it also erased Internet Explorer 7 in the process so i couldn't even get back online. XD So i used a restore point to get back all the deleted stuff but then i got the Google Redirect Virus back as well. What should I do now?

@darksinthe system restore is infected you have to disable it to delete the restore points; if you didn't disable it, it will come back if you chose to restore your computer.

If you have this virus you won't need to do anything else. This is the complete solution. On mine it took a little longer than 20 minutes and automatically rebooted the computer twice. It works like a charm. Thanks so much for the video. I highly recommend this!!!

@Lynnweb3 dude what happened? i used malwarebytes and thats like the best program to get rid of malware and spyware plus it uses java to redirect the searches, is running cmd 3xe processes a good thing or a bad thing? cuz im very suspicious of this "solution" ever since i installed it i been freaking out!
