This groove is harder than it sounds. It has what Stanton calls a "New Orleans lilt" which means it's somwhere in between swing and straight. Bozzio can play anything, this just seems a bit foreign to him.

This video should be re-titled "Stanton Moore teaches how to play Cissy Strut". Maybe drummers can link on to it and learn how to really play it. Just saying.
