holy crap man, I fit almost all those reasons, I work only for money, because my spouse would divorse me if I quit my crapy unsatisfying job.  I have no sense of purpose in my life, I have no idea what I want to do with my life. and Im nearly 40 years old. I seriously hate my job, its a black hole, the gravity of it holds me there simply for a pay check.

@ImDino I'm a sales associate. I don't earn much, but I live with my parents so it can all be put away, except the first 1000 or so that I make, which has to go to my mom.

Sometime around the end of July I should be able to afford the iMac.

I hate my job, it's labour intensive, very short brakes and I just wake up go to work 1 hour later come home sleep and repeat, spend the weekend resting because im aching all over and so tired from working all week, pay most of my money on bills at the end of the month then the cycle starts again, that pretty much sums up my existence, and I can't just quit.

but, considering he is discounting most other peoples experiences with working, and then equating dissatisfaction with working to a "personal problem" or "not thinking straight" - tells me he's either full of himself or just highly delusional.

Thanks for this video. You have confirmed so many things that I have been holding in the back of my mind for the last week. I have recently changed my job to a new company which promised me so many good things. I have a salary of 100k per year BUT the daily tasks are so intensely boring and the hours crazy long I have decided to get the hell out of it. Even if I drop 50% so be it.

I wish I had a magic wand. I spent 20 years in the corporate world, and was never happy with that. All I did was pay bills, tread water. What would you like to do? Make that happen. The problem with most people is a couple things--1. Obligations-- like home or children. Scale back the expenses--most folks are slaves to stuff.

2. Fear of change, or failure. Take chances--who cares if we fall flat on our face.

First reduce expenses---there's freedom in that. Bill
