im pretty skilled in brush, but what do you use to color the model, live color is ok but i cant get it to look that good

well before starting zbrush drawing and anatomy are required i think...

and about the program it's not so hard i think, depends what you want to create.

but you need a pen tablet for sure.

@FristOneStoned thanx but i already downloaded the Zbrush one the problem is that i wasn`t expecting that I also needed a pen tablet.. I thought u had to do something like copy an image then paste it in the software and just give some sort of 3d volume to the image

@IcEdJoKeR2500 Oh, well i know that Zbrush and mudbox are besically the same except for the tools mybe, but ya luckly i had a tablet before i downloaded mudbox witch was just two weeks ago, so just buy its only 100 dollars in besbuy, mybe less on the internet. But you could have used the money you but with zbrush for the tablet, and saved buy downloading mudbox. I wish i would have answerd to you seen, sorry !

@FristOneStoned lol dont worry, I never buy softwares before trying them out first.. I didn`t buy it I download it by torrent. So i haven`t spent any money on anything, and since you say they`re like 100 bucks I think I`ll try to get one for X-mas XD Im in Mexico btw so I hope they sell those over here cuz I`ve never heard of those before untill someone from here told me about them. Anyways, thanks a lot for the info..

@IcEdJoKeR2500 Your welcome man, and you can still get mudbox for free even if your in mexico. Just sign up, fill out the application, and download any of there programs, mudbox, 3ds max, maya, all together there about 10,000 dollars, but for student luckly there free

@IcEdJoKeR2500 Hey but let me help you out with one thing, i couldnt figure out how to put a background reference in mudbox, and alot of other on the internet didnt know how to, so i uploaded the Always on top command. When activated it allows you keep a window of your choice on top by pressing control space while the window is open. so then you can navigate and work on other windows but still have that one window on top. yeah everything was done in zbrush, you can download zbrush demo also if you want, i think that sculptris it's quite different from zbrush. it's not the same approach.

well if you export maps like normal maps textures and so on and of course resize the mesh to about 10000 polys yes you can, but not at this polygons resolution. it's too dense.

Thanks for your comment, well i start zbrush with version 3 and learn it with tutorials and stuff 3.1 was a great update then 3.5 and now the new 4.0 is totally outstanding, but i'll say that the main basics you gotta have is knowing anatomy and draw skills at least for human.

But you can Sculpt whatever you want in zbrush, aliens, cars, furnitures....anythings.
