i personally don't use photoshop to edit/ insert text. it pixellates it.
anyone knows if pixelmator fares better?

dude. i've been trying to make a youtube background in pixelmator for the last day and its impossible. also, how do you export something as a jpeg image or something

Click save as, then go to the drop down menu and chnage it from the pixelmator format to jpeg..
also, I know ,pixelmator is not the best program to make youtube backgrounds, this was just a ID card type of thing. That just shows some information and thats it.

i dont think there is anything better ,but in price its gimp(free)pixelmator(shareware)photoshop(expensive stuff),but in which way better ?There is no better ,but you could compare lightroom/aperature with this and see what you need !
