I'm arabic with very curly hair and I'm ok with relaxers, but weave not so much. With relaxers at least, it's your hair you're showing, even if you "altered" it. Anyways, relaxer, weave, natural, doesn't matter, the important thing is to love your look. Stop making black people feel bad because they are "fake" because of the weaves and relaxers. What about make-up, that some women wear every day, tanning beds and self tanners, flat irons, bras to make your tits appear bigger, isn't it "fake"?

I used to hate my natural hair because its curly/wavy and I wanted it to be straight, I straightened it every day, and I damaged it so badly, now i've learned to work with it naturally and it actually looks gorgeous, I get compliments on it all the time! Love your natural hair ladies :)

When I was little, I had curly hair but as I have grown up it's more curly/wavy and looks ridiculous. We are all human and we all have flaws! But does it make us any less of a person?? ... NO! and If someone tells you otherwise then they are just shallow!!

Why do black women strive for "white hair" ??? Ours isn't perfect. I deal with solid curls underneath and heavy waves on the top so if I let it air dry it looks like a poof ball. White women don't have perfect hair, ladies. We have to work at it and straighten and do all sorts of things to make it look halfway decent. Accept who you are and lose the nasty weaves because at the end of the day its still you.

Her hair is best for her, much better than weaves althoughI know al the models wear weave and hair pieces @ some point. But long hair is not good for everyone.
