im sorry, i have no idea where to get the asus update program. i dont even know what the mobo disc is. does it come with the computer? i got mine online so i didnt get one. if its supposed to come with the computer, where can i get one?

@cundinyo Just search for drivers as I have done in this video to get the update file, U will find ur mobo der, the best bet is google ur motherboards(mobo) name and search for the proper update tool!

Hey I have a problem, After wake up from sleep the asus p8z68 deluxe mobo idles around has 25% and it wont get normal without a restart.

Is that a bios problem? Though the mobo is awesome.

@Metalicalypse May be. Flash a new stable bios. But i guess its a UEFI bios aint it?

if i have 2 disks in raid 0 partition and i load bios to default does it mess the partition:o???

@zaratus I havent actually checked it... but it shouldnt as long as after the reboot u get into bios and set raid before booting back in!

@zaratus Or u can also do it from a pendrive without booting in to windows. Use Asus Z flash, Read abt it in the asus user manual. U will come to know how to do it

@TheKSProduction Yes its necessary to set settings to default! And the only preparation is to be ready to get a new one if it doesnt get replaced by ASUS after u screw up!

It came in A Zip file. it extracted to BIN anyways. what i did was get the copy directly form my BIos. this wont fix my cold boot issues but at least i was able to go ahead with the MyLogo update. and I am happy with my new splash screen image. thanks. this video Did help!

when I download the latest bios it comes in a .BIN format.. what am i supposed to do with that?

@cheesekabob it should come in a RAR file. Then u have to extract that and then follow the procedure show in the video

Hey there! Nice work with da tut, helpful. Dough i have a problem. I haven an A8V Deluxe Mb with AMD3800+. With da old BIOS the CPU can only use one core, so i went for a BIOS update, I followed ur instructions, everything was i fine, until i saw that the BIOS is the same old shit, and nothing's changed. So i still have one core instead of two :'( Any ideas plz?

PS: I've heard nasty nightmare stories about ASUS MB-s so now I'm startin to really hate 'em. Thanks! Peace

@coltblooded Yeah ASUS is shit! I sold mine and got Asrock till bulldozer hits... its sooo much better. And Even if u downloaded the latest bios and its still not showing then... bad luck. And are u sure its 3800+ X2?

@WCK123456 I've had an asrock motherboard before, and indeed it was a good piece of hardware. Well honestly i'm not really sure if it's an X2 or not, this is the first time i have an ASUS motherboard with an AMD CPU. A good friend of mine gave me this PC, so i don't know all the details. But i'm sure as hell that my new PC will have a good Intel CPU (an i3 maybe) and a Gigabyte motherboard cuz i have really good experiences with them. Thanks for ur reply!
