I have similar experience, but mine is an electric. It is very difficult to react at that very moment as one may think the initial yaw is due to stall and may react by increasing throttle. Pushing the throttle stick results in even more yaw and crash is inevitable

Easy for you assholes to criticize - you have no idea of his design objectives - because a model isn't perfectly scale doesn't disqualify it as a good model, he designed, built, and successfully flew -for a while anyways, a full functioning model aircraft and with cardboard!! that is an accomplishment, what have you done today, finished 3 beers and got up off your couch in your trailer - well done, it's folks like you that mocked such great inventors at every failure but disappear at the success
you only droped the ball, thats all it takes to fall out of the sky.
What holds u up off the ground; the wind and your wings. if inside a warbird be aware of two things like the wind speed or air sped and the steel ball in that curved sight-glass right in the top-middle part of the dash. in a banking turn keep that bearing centered and all will be fine. And have patients because rc is your control so land right where you can see it best.
hi mate have a look how much the right wing flexes as it's banking over both motors sound to be running the same revs so i would say there was a falt on the plane or the glue let go in something hope the rebuild go's well because its a beautiful aircraft and sounds sweet
my dad had something along the lines of that. it crashed when the tip of the wing came off, he landed it but a bit too hard, it was in a nose dive anyway soo he didnt have much of a choice :(
thats a typical wing drop during a stall of low airspeed and increased angle of attack during climb and turn. i feel your pain cos ive retired a couple of aircraft that way too. really nice model tho. any chance of posting some of the model details?
Probably best to keep the speed up a bit, especially after liftoff

He obviously crashed from the engine failing, I don't think anyone could turn that sharp on a DC-3 with both engines running if they tried.

Maybe the motors were so loud being on both sides it couldnt hear the pilot.

Stall due to low airspeed. Always add some throttle BEFORE making a turn, if forgot, fly straight for some 1s until speedup.
