because the Japanise language doesn't have the letter "L". for example, in inuyasha the demon fox Kilala is spelled Kirara. depending on the word, the replacement letter differs

actually, the "A" in Aucifer is suppose to be the greek letter lamda (which represents the L). in the manga, they changed Lucifer to Aucifer when they decided to go international. i think for the anime, they decided to change it when they made their debut.

here, the manga was released as "Sensual Phrase" and at this point, the quality of the anime just isn't appealing to me. I wish it had a brighter colourment to it, not like an 80's cartoon. I'm fairly disappointed
