I'm not into the whole *Ireland for the Irish* thing. That is just a feeble minded suburban rant. However it is true that islam and any aspect of sharia law can't be allowed to gain a foothold into policy decisions. I believe the same is true of catholicism or any other religion and look forward to the separation of church and state which sadly hasn't yet happened yet in Ireland. So before we can say no to sharia, we have to dismantle the church state and have a genuinely secular country.
