  • I live near this amazing spot up in the highlands and i use a cheap shake-spear rod and a small 10g silver spinner and i easily catch on a good day 10+ pollock or as we call 'em "safe" waying a couple pounds a piece. But i am thinking on trying fly fishing although i dont fully understand the technique and ive never actually tried it before and i also dont have a clue on what rods to buy etc. if anybody could give me any tips they would be well appreciated. Thanks, forestfire12345

  • what type of line / rod did you use and where in the uk did u fish?

  • love the video mate! Looks like awesome fun, what rod is that? I currently have a 9wt deep blue, but sometimes I think an 8wt would be better sometimes! Nice to see a line tray too!
