Also, I know the band has transitioned greatly from their original image but, I always manage to find something I like from everyone one of their albums so they have consistently never failed me. Because they don't realise Havok prior to 2003 exists. They think he's never had short hair or anything. In 1994 he rocked this exact same hair style and wore gold coloured suits too, yet everyone only thinks about suspenders, makeup and long black hair nowadays.

I hate how image is associated with music. I know a lot of people who dislike this band based solely on their appearance, causing them to disregard their music. Even though some actually like how it sounds.

Havok scared the shit out of me lol, but I gave them a chance and listened to some of their older stuff. There are some gems in there I'll admit. This song really caught me off guard. First time I saw it was on TV while getting ready for my evening classes. Even with my shirt halfway over my head I still recognized Davey's voice.

I'm not one that sits and watches a whole video or makes a point to listen to a whole song if it isn't coming from earphones. But I sat, I watched, and I listened. Then bought the album after my classes.

First CD I've actually bothered to go out and buy in a few years( felt strange ). Totally worth it though.

Well I'll respect your opinion, but I highly disagree. AFI has never been one to do what the crowd does. You can see it in the members. They are one of the only true bands I have ever liked. And it's proven by the way their sound changes over time. It proves they are real people and they aren't sell outs. They don't do it for the money. They do it for their fans, because they're in love with what they do. Making them very not cliche
