be dedicated and play alot everyday, and show people you can play. i've been amazed the people i've met just after playing locally. word of mouth man, when you get you shit tight, you'll start to meet cool cats and the good jams seem to take off. i was so down about being able to find the right people, and i just started to play some acoustic improvs at local shops with friends and soon enough people were introducing themselves to me wanting to play, Build it, and they will come!
