  • I was there :-)

  • its called faith no more no Patton´s band, I like patton but he has never donde anything greater that FNM....he was invited and contributed a lot and change the course of the band, still was on the foundation of FNM.

  • Comment removed

  • Anthony kiedis also has a shitty voice, i saw them at lalapalooza and Kiedis ruined the whole show with his weak ass crackly voice, not to mention he's a douchebag and made concert promoters drop FNM from 3 huge festivals in europe since he had final say in acts, just because he was in a huff about mike patton not liking him

  • Um, I remember when Chuck Mosley fronted, and I think "We Care a Lot" got a lot of airplay in its day in 1986. Then Mosley went to .... Bad Brains, I think... for the "Eye and I" album.

  • @feekill right on brother!

  • The lights are just TOO BRIGHT.

  • Lieblos ins Mikro gekotzt.

  • december 5 2010 in Santiago Chile Faith No More

  • How come his vocals sound so different to the original recording? Has the band changed it's direction in music? I don't know a lot about their "Second Coming".

  • @Birdman283 Well, he is 20 years older dude, of course his voice will change.

  • @SX1995able What I mean is have they gone heavier in their style? Sorry, about the change in user name.

  • @birdman3120 Nah, they always experiment with their songs live, besides Mik`es voice changed A LOT from "Epic". His voice was only high pitched on "The Real Thing" after that it got more refined and deeper. They always change their style, listen to "Angel Dust" if ou haven`t already, that`s their most experimental album.

  • @SX1995able Thanks for the informative answer, I'll check out the album you mentioned.

  • @birdman3120 No problem dude. I will tell you this though, the album is very eclectic and strange. Genres range from Country, Jazz, Death Metal, Rock, and of course strange vocals from Mike Patton, including screaming, singing, to just weird sounds. It`s not a new album though, it was out way back in 92. Their last two album "King for a day, Fool for a Lifetime" and "Album of the Year" are more straight forward but still experiment. Hope that helped you.

  • @birdman3120 Oh and theres no rap songs on there. The rap/rock sound was only on "The Real Thing" and a little of their last two albums. Check out Mr.Bungle, thats Mike Patton`s very first band that he was in at the same time as Faith No More. The music is even stranger and you might not like it but check it, they only released 3 albums though. Anyways hope tht helped you even more. Haha sorry for dragging on the subject.

  • @SX1995able No sweat, you have been very helpful, not the usual bile you get on YouTube, very refreshing.

  • @SX1995able secret chiefs 3

  • hes out of hes fucking mindd

  • patton is god

  • COME BACK TO ARGENTINA

  • crap live i'm afraid. Sounds awful.

  • to those talking about rhcp and patton...patton formed mr bungle in 85 and that style was rap rock n funk...their debut album didnt come out til 90 though thanks to the popularity of pattons other band fnm...and the release of real thing.

  • Epic baby. Love it forever.

  • why are he swinging the norwegian flag? O _o

  • Mike Borden is a drum god!!!

  • @TBS30STM oh you poor baby :( maybe the world doesnt cater for your shit taste? :D

  • @MustardLung ohhh it caters fine, just not this crap

and yes, im allowed to have my own opinion, and unlike you, i respect that you like the band and im not going to insult you over it

  • Actually RHCP copied Mr Bungle cause that band was around before RHCP

  • All RHCP does is sing about California now a days. RHCP has one "style" of music. FNM is all over the board. Much more talent in FNM then RHCP. Patton can run circles around Keidis when it comes to talent.

  • patton ripped off rhcp cause fnm had a different singer when they first started

  • @skeletonn8 Lol thats the stupidest bit of 'evidence' i've ever seen

  • @XVonGrimmX lol what a retard. 'fnm had a different singer waaaaah' XD

  • RHCP got a huge boost from Faith No More .. They def borrowed Mike Patton's Style.. I love both bands.. just saying .People are saying how can we compare but.. Faith No more was way a massive band before RHCP broke thru..

  • The beef between Patton and RHCP comes from Keidis getting Patton's band Mr. Bungle kicked off a tour.. Go listen to squeez me macaroni by Mr. Bungle, RHCP totally stole their style.

  • Chili's were around years before faith no more. Do your research kiddies...

  • faith no more was in the business since 1981

  • rhcp formed in 83, and faith no more, formed in 81. research done, kevvy.

  • @soupwned lol I was about to get him on that but you beat me to it!

  • Patton didnt join till like 87-88 though. and the arguement is about patton and keidis, not the bands. it is funny though, the rhcp vs fnm arguement has been going on for years and years! I like both, but patton is a GOD. look up fnm on holloween video doing chilli peppers.... its spot on!

  • ok, its actually mr. bungle mocking the peppers, vid is called RHCP parody #1 its great!

  • anthony keidis totally ripped off pattons entire image in the early ninties, fucks sake, just listen to bloodsugarsexmagic and then the real thing. If he didn't have pattons template to jack then he would probaby be living under a bridge downtown

  • Or living 'Under the bridge'. lol

  • @feekill he didn't have to rip him, although i might be wrong since i dont have any evidence and this is just my personal opinion tht maybe he just had influences like public enemy etc and mixed it with the alternative rock?

  • @feekill Yeah and listen to the Chili's albums prior to bloodsugarsexmagik, Kiedis already had that style.

  • @feekill nice pun there...

  • @feekill Um ok go listen to Freakey Styley (1985), two years before Introduce Yourself came out, or Uplift Mofo Party Plan, again two years before The Real Thing (incidentally the same year as Mother's Milk),, then come back and talk about templates.

They're both awesome bands regardless, what's with the hating?

  • @feekill woooww dude. you're totally wrong. kiedis had been doing his thing long before patton came around. look up some early chili peppers performances circa 85 or 86

  • @feekill HAHAHAHAHA I love that little pun you did at the end of that comment haha!

  • @feekill

Anthony Keidis' mouth was made to suck my dick.

  • @feekill LOL "under a bridge down town"

  • @feekill To me both bands are awesome Faith No More being more awesome in my opinion however The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been with this style since before most of the people mentioned on here Why Don't you love me 1984 sounds very similar to how they have always been actually it sounds more like Patton then than they do now. So I guess they copied Mike Patton before they ever heard of him?

  • @feekill the pepper s are awsome otoo

  • @feekill thing is kiedis had that image going since the 80s, both bands are great in there own way but i dont think people should bitch about "image"

  • @feekill Hate to say it, but other way around. Keidis was doing all this when mike was still in baby shoes. Chilli peppers been around since 1983.

  • @feekill You are talking for free man, Patton wanted to make a parody of Kiedis in this song, and he(Patton) get famous doing that.

  • Just as an FYI, even though Faith No More formed two years before the Red Hot Chili Peppers (FNM - 1981, RHCP - 1983), hardly anyone knew about Faith No More until 3 or 4 years after Red Hot Chili Peppers started gaining a big fan base. Plus, Faith No More was a groove metal band, Red Hot Chili Peppers were a mix of funk, rock, jazz, and hip hop. You can't say they stole their style from FNM.

  • @feekill anthony was like that years ago. screw all of the arguing. theyre both great

  • @feekill Dude Faith No More is much better, but Kiedis has been doing his shit that's very similar to what he has always been doing since the 1980's he didn't steal anything.

  • My god, how did I miss them re-uniting?

  • They're playing some European festivals this summer. Also coachella.

  • red hot chilli peppers suck, except maybe for some very early, early works and under the bridge. All of their stuff after '95 was complete shit

  • I really liked minor thing off of by the way

  • @damotheamazing you are wrong..

  • Yeah early Chillis were good, then it all went to $hit. Except for the occasional guitar solo.

  • how the fuck do you associate this band with RHCP? they dont share band members, and whether or not their music is shitty is completely irrelevant to a good music video. Take your opinion and taste of other bands to another band's video.

  • I said that it's better to enjoy the concert than being busy taking pictures and recording videos, you stupid fuck!

  • I have seen Faith No more in concert in 1997 at the Sydney Hordon Pavillion and they were awesome as.

And I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

  • I saw them in Sweden and they rule live.

  • tons of cell phones..people are really stupid these days..

There is a thing called memory, even better than holding a camera to put videos on youtube.

  • What because using a cellphone erases the experience from your memory? What a stupid comment.

  • So you've never taken a picture of anything in your life because you have a memory?? You're a tool

  • wait, they call this a reunion... AND THERE'S NO BIG JIM?!?!?!?! BLASPHEMY!

  • The people should be dancing instead of using their cellphones ...

  • Yea, 21st century kids r more likely to die from being hit my a car than us Hippie Kids.

  • in my opinion he is taking the piss out of this song, sure hes having fun but he seriously seems like hes taking the piss out of most of the more popular songs, when he sings them live, gotta love patton.

  • i love the subtle little differences in the vocals...makes it modern

  • fool

  • FHM rules!!Moscow loves you! Patton you чувак ))!!

  • SGwizard Journey are good but they have some new singer Arnel Pinada i think hes called.. I'd only see them top the bill if they have Steve Perry... Without him, Faith No more should top it anyday, even without Jim martin

  • Make some more music please!

    FNM ForeveR!

  • On Angel Dust, Mike Patton had sort of "dual personality" with his vocal style. On some songs he had that whiny high sound like on "The Real Thing" (the album I mean). On other songs he had that growling/shouting low voice. I kinda liked the artistic choice of using the right vocal style for the right song. Then starting with King For a Day he switched to always using the loud/shouty voice, and used in concert when singing the older material. I really wish he hadn't gone that way, it sucks.

  • Mike is making me dizzy....stop going in circles!! hehe...Awesome song....They need to do just one big tour...and a Mike to do a Mr Bungle tour too...Saw them in 2000, was ok. Had to fight Mike to play good songs or anything that the crowd knew...Funny shit!!!RHCP need to do another BSSM tour.....their newer stuff is shit...sorry. Hope ya had fun....better come to Australia!!

  • I know right, RHCP needs to get back to more aggresive work. Only it's hard for them because they don't live an aggresive life style anymore.

  • wow Mike Patton still sounds the same dang... so good

  • This is great! My favorite FNM song, and its cool to see em back together

  • Fuck Journey

  • we now need a mr.bungle reunion, whos with me?

  • Agreed

But only on the heels of a RHCP break up ;)

  • me cause patton still got his voice!

  • They better start touring, I want to see them so bad!

  • Ha ha, Norway flying the flag for rock n roll, so cool. HEIA!!!

  • The 90's is coming back! first there was an AIC reunion, then a RATM reunion, then a STP reunion, now FNM and i hear there may be a Soundgarden reunion aswell :D good times

  • I'm surprised you didn't come up with an acronym for Soundgarden. All this code for a bunch of crap bands that should never have got back together in the first place. ha ha

  • Fuck you these are all good bands, why what shit do you listen to then?

  • The Alice in Chains reunion doesn't count since it's not Layne Staley. It's like insightdelight said, they never should have gotten back together in the first place. Well the others are fine, but AIC is not AIC without Layne.

  • Do you know how small mimded you are? You're also ignorant and not a proper AIC fan :)

  • Actually, I'm extremely OPEN minded, and I'm not ignorant. Alice in Chains has been my favorite band since I was about five and I heard my mom listening to "Man in the Box" when she drove me to my first day of Kindergarten, okay? After that I got into them and when I became a teen I was a hardcore fan. When Layne Staley died, I actually cried. Like a bitch, but I cried. When AIC got back together with this new guy, I gave them a chance, and I have decided, it's not the same without Layne. There.

  • I agree, it's not the same, but it's still good.

  • If you agree it's not the same why did you call me ignorant, small minded and not a proper AIC fan? I gave the new AIC a chance, I don't like the new guy, it's not AIC without Layne. But you insult me, then agree with me?

  • I admit I jumped to conclusions that you just hated the new stuff, and well tbh I was right to do so because you do hate the new stuff, I like the new guy, he's no Layne, but he's a good singer and I think he's doing AIC justice, if I had to pick a singer I would want to front AIC i would pick Scott Weiland, because in my view he is the closest person to Layne's voice, either that or Aaron Lewis of Staind fame because he's pretty close to it too , but that's just my opinion.

  • also I 'attacked' you're comment because you said the AIC reunion doesn't count because Layne's not there, well what do you want? them to dig him up? I count it as a reunion. But i guess they can't please everyone

  • NO ONE can replace Layne so they shouldn't even try. He died, that should be the end of AIC, the other guys have enough talent to be in other bands, they don't NEED AIC to be successful. Weiland and Lewis would suck with AIC. They're good in their own rights, but not for AIC. I heard Lewis sing an AIC song before and I did not like it.

  • I think if the band thought it would be the wrong thing to do they wouldn't have done it, they knew Layne better than any of us, so they would have had a rough idea on how Layne would have felt about them continuing on without him, the only way we would know is if he was still alive and he was asked, but all in all what's happened has happened so in the words of the Beatles 'Let It Be', now lets sit back and enjoy a good band :)

  • You're on YouTube right now, go look up AIC interviews from the late 90's especially this one radio interview that's in 11 parts I think. Listen to how they treat Layne. They don't give him a chance to speak and if they do they put him down and make fun of him. You can tell it starts to get to Layne and I hate that they treated him like that and then try to replace him.

  • Listen to the songs No Excuses, Pig Charmer and Bargain Basement Howard Hughes, they are all about Jerry's uneasy up & down relationship with Staley. You have to understand that with Staley's addiction the band hadn't been able to tour since '93, that must have caused some rifts between the guys who wanted to tour but couldn't.

  • Well...I'd actuallly go to the concert if they dug him up

Use the technology that the Grateful Dead used in their "Touch of Grey" music video to get him to sync up and BOOM...you have immediate ticket sales.

  • More like BOOM immediate lawsuit

  • so does this mean there will be a....

    MR.BUNGLE REUNION?

    MIKE PATTON IS GAWD!!

  • no.

  • shame the sound quality on this is shitty , really shitty , really really shitty shit shit

  • What's with the norwegian flag?

  • Probably some Norwegian people over for the festival.

  • Hey well I'm Norwegian and I'm a fuckin New Yorker so fuck you.

  • And how exactly is that a comeback to what I said? Not that I was trying to be insulting.

  • Awesome video quality. Sound quality couldn't be worse.

  • you trolling? lol

  • if ur not gonna sumthing productive dont comment, if u dont like them dont watch the vid.

  • Then why did you waste your time going to one of their videos? If you don't like them, DON'T GO TO THE VIDEO.

  • you are a cunt

  • "you are a cunt"

Wow, that was imaginative wasnt it?

    Try again.

  • It doesn't need to be imaginative to be true.

  • I'm sorry that you're a Wolfmother fan Jackassnob.

    WOLFMOTHER RULES!!!!!!!!!!HAHAHAHAHA

  • he voice isnt as funny as it used to be :P

  • gotta be the most played tune in the krazy house since it opened fuckin yrs ago, still the best club goin

  • i'd say the most played tune has always been Closer - NIN. Could be wrong though.

  • maybe true, but at 3-4am who's countin, still best place in liverpool, probably best place in the uk 4 the record

  • considering the three floors they should (based on my judgement from up to a year or so ago) have varied the tunes more. you'd go from one floor to the next and hear the same thing. They should take advantage of all the great tunes that are out there and not just go for the same old hits. i think anyway.

  • Faith no More en el municipal de la florida eso se vive una sola vez en la vida, solo falta TooL y me puedo morir tranquilo.

  • Great quality video, shame about the audio :(

  • this is brilliant.check out a band called jekyll and their song bone crunching kick to the head and their song animals.they are awesome.faith no more and jekyll are my favourite bands.mike patton is genius.

  • I saw this performance and the crowd response was amazing. Me and my friends weren't Faith no more fans before this. Mike Patton is incredible.

  • Os cara são bons mesmo,o tempo deixa eles melhores ainda.........

  • Said Nu-Metal bands would be fuck all without FNM. Fact.

  • you can't judge the show by this video. it was really energetic and the crowd was having fun. anyway, lots of people know plenty FNM songs, especially if they grew up in the early '90s *shakes cane* ;-)

  • shut up dickwad

    MOTLEY FUCKIN CRUE!!!!!

4 dead guys held up by drugs and lame blowjobs!!

    against fnm, no contest

    GO SUCK FRED DURNSTS BALLS!

then rape yerself with korns last effort! (dear oh dear)

  • Motley Crue were sooo fucking shit...i WAS quite a big Crue fan, but they were out of fucking time, Vince was outa breath, Nikki kept walking off the stage, instead of letting the crowd see em, they played the shittest slideshows on the screens, they looked like they had been done by a 5 year old child. I walked away after 3 songs, im so glad I saaw FNM, they were immense!

  • never liked this band

  • Faith No More more were simply by far in a league of their own that weekend. One of the best performances of skill and raw talent that you will ever see. The originality and influence this band has made for music is astounding. None of that line-up or any other for that matter can compete with the genius they come up with. Truly amazing. U see loads of washed up has beens do these `reunions` and its well, to say the least often disappointing, but not these guys. They sort of added somthing extra

  • disagree, weren't that good, Slipknot, limp bizkit, motley crue, korn were the best, people really only know this song by this band, should NOT have headlined, should have been on the oldies sunday, just didn't go

  • Dont compare Slipknot or any other teenage riot band to this one... it just isnt right... It's like comparing a mini to a ferrari -_-

  • down in my opinion played amazing compared to these guys. phil looked and sounded like he did back in the day.

  • for me down were the reason i went

  • i wish i could have went to see them too. of course id also go for devildriver too.

  • fuckin A!

    BURY ME IN SMOKE!!! \m/

  • You're dumb.

  • yea poker face was great weren't it......

  • SHIT'S OUTTA SIGHT!

    Amazing.

  • NORWAY!

  • awesome.

  • go norway!!

  • i love FNM but this looks like it woulda been as boring as batshit. is he on valium or somethin, somebody wake him up!

  • valium... when you cannot see who is a genious as a singer pasionate performer, you can said that but shame on you , youll never undestand his languaje, beyond undestanding and as evidence seid( you wont feel me") so dont try to wake him, life cant, album record companies cant and so you cant....

  • Pretty sweet ass video, really clear. That was an awesome show...I am not even an FNM fan and I really enjoyed that :-)

  • I saw FNM @download. I am old enough to remember them.. and see them BEFORE Angel Dust this was my 5th gig ( with a very long gap) The sound on the stream is NOT GOOD!!! and please don't think they were like this. Well worth not doing Crue for .I am glad now that I stuck with what I knew. Mike + Red Pimp suit= hot pappa... Well Done Guys..... Congrats on the reform more of the same ....... AWESOME SHOW!!! Those who were not there + watching Motley Crue don't diss what U missed.

  • Motley Crue were my favorite band of the entire festival, so i guess they fucked us both over by putting them on together.

  • Epic`was their biggest hit..we all know that!, but it wasnt really who they were.

Angel Dust, (as far as groundbreaking / original music goes), was possibly the greatest album ever made!! ...just look at the `land of sunshine` performance at download...pure genius! but more importantly, FUN to listen to.

  • metalrules you fag they won more awards in the 90's than metallica in their all history......every album was an award winner....go listen to slipGAYknot....

  • you mean shitknot

  • metalrules2791 check ur music history dumb ass faith no more aint one hit wonders

  • Prolly because of Kerrang showing epic all the time. Nothing existed before Kerrang don't you know?

  • One hit wonder ???? come again?!?! maybe you should go back and have a look at the charts during the early 90s and comment then

  • dumbest thing ive read in a while

  • ur a fucking gay and have no idea what ur talking about

  • I am so glad this set is up cause I can barely remember it had been on the piss from 7am!! I kinda died after Korn.

  • It was awesome to see Faith no more at download 09 they were amazing!

  • deffo, i loved every minute of this weekend.

  • I chose to go see motley as theyre my childhood heros haha, but as i was walking back this song hit and it kept me around till the end of the set cause they were good, a good choice for them to end on we care alot aswell =D

  • i went to see motley crue, but i was really dissapointed. i left half way through shout aqt the devil. was the rest of the set that bad?

  • After the halfway point the songs erupted into all the classics, and it got crazy. Tommy Lee spent some time in the crowd with his jager first though, so it slowed down a bit there. But it ended with a bang.

  • ah right. tbh i wish i stayed now, but imo his singing was pretty bad. epic festival though :)
