  • damn! raymond and burton do a damn good justice to this song in this :)

  • That is therapeutic

  • what's the deal with people disliking this?? 14 people watched this and thought to themselves: "i'm sorry, i hate this music because it's too awesome..."

  • Comment removed

  • epic they neeed to play more thsi song, because all videos are too old

  • Was this really 17 years ago? ....

  • THC on bass guitar :E:D

  • nice : )

  • Shame MTV is a huge, festering pile of horse shit now.

    Burton sounds excellent here.

  • Damn!!! Amazing quality recording!

  • love the random jumping...hahha i forgot about that

  • best metal song ever

  • @antibulletdodger101 I Agree!!!! A Classic!!!!

  • Best tv performance ever!

  • hermoso y desconosido

  • Dino is a fucking insane rhythm guitarist

  • Damn I miss the good ol days back when Christian, Dino, Burton and Raymond where all together :/

  • Fuckintastic!!!! Awesome !!!! Great band, great music, great performance \m/

  • Christian really reminds me of animal when he screams "machines of hate"

  • best metal band ever, even if they do kinda suck live... except for this particular video, usually they dont sound so great

  • burton looks like he came out of a nirvana video

  • I love their thrashy look, dressing up for their own comfort and noone else.

  • I like the sound of drums ,guitar and bass. really punchy.

  • I miss the 90's....

  • @johnvaughn666 Agreed.

  • i miss when MTV shit was a good channel

  • this is classic... what metal should be

  • BEST FEAR FACTORY SONG OUT OF THEIR ENTIRE CATALOGUE

  • fuck off

  • Damn! What a great performance!

  • I love the gritty garage sound captured live. Like their first album. Horrible Quality..... Love it. Every band should record two albums - one processed for the mainstream and one gritty underground production. I'd listen to both.. one for clarity and the other for sheer brutality.

  • this performance was the first time i saw this band ..never turned back ...live in brixton academy was awesome

  • Thanks for this vid man. I remember watching this shit live.

    I miss Vanessa!

  • GREATEST PERFORMANCE EVER!!! Herrera is a MACHINE!!! FEAR FACTORY 4 LIFE!!!

  • herrera's got unlimited ammunition

  • dino and raymond herrera..the greatest duo in the history of metal..

  • @pkrishnametal And what about Burton? Sorry, but I think the greatest TRIO they are.

  • @MrLindemann89 they are indeed the greatest trio..but was talking about the machine gun riffs combining the double bass pedals..great combination there

  • @pkrishnametal Yeah dude. You've got a point there.

  • 13 peoples' heads were chopped off by Dino's guitar.

  • WOW that was ace. ff are one of those rare bands that can play songs live that sound just as good (if not better) than the album version. im glad they are touring again as the original line up :) and the 13 dilikes must be mistakes or just retards

  • @Jprudge45 actually the current line-up of FF is Byron Stroud, Dino Cazares, Burton C Bell and Gene Hoglan; Raymond Herrera and Christian Olde Wolbers disbanded as soon as dino joined....

  • @sailorpsycho

Wrong. They were fired. Reasons can be found online in various places.

  • @ModPrime whatever the reason is it's pretty obvious that they hasn't let go all their personal issues from 2001,02...

  • @ModPrime

actually you are wrong... they weren't fired. Bell wanted to reform the band with them included but they didn't want to be involved if Dino was going to be in it. Although originally they didn't realise that the 'new' band was going to be a new version of FF so now they're pissed off because technically they are still part of FF.

  • brutal una masa¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • MAN VS MACHINE FOREVER!!!!!!! \m/

  • This song is the shit.

  • I never understood how amazing these lyrics were when I was younger. FF is classic!

  • This video reminds me of times when MTV used to play music

  • @matezup yeah mtv sucks now

  • by the way. What are those last words in the lyrics?? i cant get them

  • @Doika86 Persist for resistance

    Resist their insolence

    You are a dissident

    Burn away conformity

    They've tried to break you

  • @pkrishnametal no not that, the gregorian chant starting at 4:13

  • @Doika86 oh, i am pretty sure hes just droning there,.. not saying anything.

  • They said fat people werent good at anything I FOR ONE CALL BULLSHIT! no offense to the band just making a point

  • I like when the singer doesnt clean sing

  • @fivestringbassplayr to me the clean sound is what distinguished fear factory so much from every other fly by night metal band, Fear Factory is AMAZING, and the clean vocals only add to the epic awesomeness that is fear factory.

  • Fear Factory will always be my favorite band of all time.. this is the band that got me into heavy music, and there's no one like them.

  • fuck yeah, ..the heavy ass guitar tone chugging palm mute, double fucking bass, head smashing snare 666% brutal

  • From 2:21 to 2:26. Dont need more.

  • This is pretty much proof contradicting all the haters saying that Burton fakes his clean vocals in the studio.

  • @JackedUpNGoodToGo Yeah pretty much. Although this was in 1995 and his voice was still very energetic back then. His voice has worn out a lot. If you compare his clean vocals from Demanufacture or Obsolete with Archetype or Transgression or Mechanize, his "new" clean vocals sound way different. They still sound epic as fuck because Burton is simply a God.

  • @JackedUpNGoodToGo I know right, Soul Of A New Machine and Demanufacture were released in 1992 and 1994 respectively and the first Autotune by Anteres didn't come out til 1997

  • yeah bro the best time it never comes again

  • Dino is GOD

  • the first time i heard this was live in concert july 15, 1995. they opened the outdoor show in cheektowaga new york, the sun was still shining @ like 6:45, I was in the front row at age 15, at the end they jumped off the stage and ran down between the barrier and the stage high fiving everyone in the front. I miss when you could be in a band wearing a sweatshirt (no name brand), long hair, and a rope type necklace, and fans adored your talent. not "the Bling" kids need today.

  • Raymond Herrera and Dino Cazares mexican pride! God bless you guys and thanks for all your music!! Viva México Putos!

  • I N C R E I B L E !

  • А ща на мтв гребаную попсу крутят,и только!

  • Fear Factory . . . Hell Yeah !!! . . . This is my favourite FF track . . .

    Huge influence on Meshuggah's Bleed . . .

    Thanx 4 sharing, posting this

  • Finding a good metal video is hard to find, even if it's your favourite band, this is a fucking gem! Thank you for posting this!

  • @startrekreview Definitely a fucking gem! Couldn't have said it better myself!

  • wher are good old 90' ?? this is the real deal, not some whiney shit like today...

i listen to bands like dhem - Soilwork, In Flames, and i have a new band fore all who like FF, Sybreed from Geneva- The new wawe metal not dead, its harder to find.... Greatings frome Poland (sorry fore my broken english 0_0)

  • @rusek1133 I agree! the late 90's were the best for metal! For new bands, some are good but most aren't. Check out Cypecore if you can, they're a band out of Germany. horns up!

  • MACHINES OF HATE

  • too awesome!!!!!

  • They'd play better if they didn't jump up and down.

  • Mainstream metal was a thousand times better in the 90's than most of the garbage that gets passed off as metal nowadays. So many great bands like Fear factory, Pantera, Sepultura, White zombie, Entombed and Obituary make stuff like Killswitch engage and BMTH sound so lame. There are still loads of great metal bands now but they're getting harder to find.

  • BEST MTV ERA.....MISS THIS ERA!

  • I have this on Digital Connectivity and I play it on TV and play guitar to it and jump around like Dino, it's awesome! ;-)

  • fong

  • This is demanfacture, not self bias resistor!

  • @maximterror Fuck off!!

  • Fuck off your shithead!

  • @maximterror R U Stupid?????

  • thatswhat im talking about!!!!

  • Oh, Dino's poor ankles... watchin that bounce, thinkin bout what that's doing to his feet/ankles...

  • 90s METAL....hands down the best decade for brutal, original music.

  • @Deanboy2007 damn right!!

  • @Deanboy2007 amen to that, Fear Factory probs most underrated metal bands of the 90's

  • @Deanboy2007 its true ...the change in the sound of pantera , sepultura white zombie helmet , corrosion of c. , it was a great time

  • @Deanboy2007 lol yeah. It seems like 90% of metal bands nowadays are just copypasting this album. This band were real genius back then, i guess even they couldnt realize how much so

  • @Deanboy2007 indeed!! i m glad my teen years was in the 90s

  • @Deanboy2007 I beg to differ...fuck nu metal. Fear Factory, Meshuggah, Pantera, and the black metal scene are some exceptions to the 90s' otherwise atrociously stupid metal scene IMO

  • @Deanboy2007 No arguements here man. Cheers!

  • @Deanboy2007 this is so true!! I want back the 90's style!

  • @Deanboy2007 no sir, that would be the 80's

  • @DasChief1973 I like 80s metal - well some, but I think the style of production in the 90s completely nailed the 80s. The 80s was cool, but looked very camp and polished compared to albums such as Chaos AD, Demanufacture, Seasons In The Abyss, Vulgar Display of Power, Deliverance, Burn My Eyes, Wolverine Blues, Heartwork - the list goes on...

  • @Deanboy2007 don't forget Destroy Erase Improve and Chaosphere. And ofc City!

  • @Deanboy2007 The best and the worst at the same time.

  • @Deanboy2007 well apart from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 00s, yeah why not.

  • @allnightdwight So the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s honestly contained music as brutal and as heavy as Demanufacture? Somehow I don't believe that. And as for the 00s - Metal sounds shit in 00s. Digitalized and desperate attempts to out do the organic 90s style heaviness. Like I said, no contest.

  • @Deanboy2007 what if i said Black Sabbath. and then what if i said someone like Converge?

  • @allnightdwight I'd say nice try but no cigar. Sabbath were pioneers - but nothing they ever released was as heavy or as brutal as the 90s style of metal production. Things got better, not worse.

  • @Deanboy2007 Dude have you even listened to Sabbath? Not much is heavier than Master of Reality, certainly not 90s metal, with triggered bass drums and NO BASS.

  • @Deanboy2007 there is good bands made in 00 allso one just have to wheed true the gunk to find the gems.

  • @Seldommetalman86 IMO it's that most of the band members (but Burton) are a BIT overweight!!

  • @kadlecsoad who fucking cares? they are fatter than you, get more pussy than you, have more money than you, and have more talent than you, so fuck off about your observations

  • @digitalrobotics I don't care either, so what? And I think I'd argue about the money...

  • You guys can feel the energy? So awesome!!

  • BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE ON MTV EVER

    FACT!

  • @skylandmountain @skylandmountain Actually, it's a tie --> /watch?v=BSVpL4oQddI

  • @skylandmountain you got that damn right!!

  • it is 2pac

  • so 90s. so love this vid. burton & dino own.

  • FLAWLESS- ABSOLUTE VICTORY

  • im so fucking lucky that my friends got to meet them and got their signatures.

  • I really miss this metal

  • bring back this lineup please

  • @TokaCola . I agree. Just not the same now.

  • Amazing perfomance!! Hail Fear Factory!!

  • I am not Dino's fan but this is just fucking amazing performance!!!

  • this is when mtv was about music !

  • Holy shit dino is skinny

  • @Swurgen Well, not exactly skinny, but not as big as he is now.

  • burton is one of the greatest metal vocalists ever FearFactory fuckin jams

  • Burton had weird hair back then...

  • @GeneralAjaxus In fact I could bet he had the same hair last Sunday when I saw FF on a festival

  • @Hunnenhorst No he has weird hair in this video because the hair on the sides of his head is short and brown. Now all of it is blond and the same length.

  • @GeneralAjaxus I see, well I didn't wear my glasses for several reasons in the show :-)

  • @Hunnenhorst Yeah the pits can be brutal.

  • @GeneralAjaxus Yeah, however I avoid the center of the pit, I am getting too old for that. But sometimes the pit comes to you ;-)

  • Demanufacture is one of the greatest metal albums ever released! Its fucking amazing!

  • Damn thats real epicness

  • This is the most epic fucking thing I've ever seen in my life.

  • this is when MTV was about music

  • @parkoba fuck that was a long time ago lol

  • @parkoba its like they forgot what the M in MTV stands for...

  • @nolanschecterdimebag

    M for "Metal", eh? :)

  • His vocals realy shity live... sry for english +)

  • hell yeah !!!

They were great, Demanufacture is one of the best metal album ever !!!

Burton C Bell is simply amazing on this record, we'va got yhe proof thanks to this live !!!

  • Comment removed

  • Dino cannot play and jump lol. This song is so rhythmically amazing.

  • Burton best vocals ever.

  • Love FF. Been a fan since Obsolete. But I must say they aren't the greatest live. They don't reproduce the awesomeness of their recordings.

  • @Jakester2112 they did for digimortal

  • @Jakester2112 the songs slave labor dark bodies powershifter and shock are amazing live

  • @Jakester2112 Not sure about the comment that FF aren't awesome live. Been a fan since Soul of a new Machine & was up on stage next to Dino & Burton on that tour before diving off the stage. One of the most awesome shows I have been too. I also have a live recording of that tour in Australia & you couldn't get a better live sound and performance, so unless they've dropped the ball recently I can't agree on that one. Raymond is my favourite drummer and has to be one of the best in the world.

  • @claggluru hell i saw em live in grand rapids michigan they were fucking awesome!!! and burts vocals were top notch. haha gene broke a snare drum ^^

  • do fear the factory... TYPE killing4freedom and enjoy watching Death Metal political Gore

  • Fear Factory are great musicians but they screwed things between 'em.Look what happened to these guys. There are 2 FF nowadays...such a shame...

  • @hemophili4c There's only one FF, the other band is called Arkaea. The current FF line-up is the best one ever and easily destroys this one. Gene Hoglan and Byron Stroud rule.

  • @Romio77Godyarts

ya, i love all the members that are and were in Fear Factory, and i think theyre stronger now than ever, but i would prefer Christian over Byron Stroud, and when i think of FF i think of Raymond Herrera, not Gene Hoglan, still i want FF to stay the way they are now, its a shame i dont have any cd of them :(

  • This song is the best i also like the remix Machines Of Hate.

  • how i'd wish to see them live, i've wanted to watch them live at their concert in Costa Rica when i was 12, but i couldnt go, shit i wish they come back to Costa Rica.

  • guitar timing a little off

  • damn the drummer is fucking awesome

  • This is such an awesome balad.....

  • The Song Fucker is Fear Factory... 4Ever!!

  • is song is so fucking badass

  • God I can remember listening to fear factory when I was about 6 !!!!!!!!

  • i got to meet burton. yes a metal god and one of the best vocalist ever. as a person he was dick. maybe he was having a bad night idk.

  • @phatboy90210 could of been. I remember meeting him back when they toured for transgression and he wasn't all that bad.

  • Demanufacture is definitely the best FF album. Too bad this vid doesn't give back justice to their aggressive sound... 5/5

  • @deimos2k6 In my opinion Obsolete is the best !!!

  • @deimos2k6 i agree

  • Burton is one of the most underrated metal vocalists ever.

  • @aligatorsandwitch72

but if his vocals were not under rated they wouldn't mean as much to FF fans

his vocals will be over rated by people who think they are fans and his vocals will mean shit to FF true fans. Take for example slipknot¬¬

  • He is a great singer, of the best metal vocalists ever, better then most.
