  • Your tutorials have been extremely helpful! I am as amateur as they come, and I am following along wonderfully thus far. Would it be possible for you to break this video down a little more for me, though? I'm having trouble knowing what you are doing exactly. Or is there a different tutorial better suited for my lack of experience? Thank you.

  • @momdlbl Google for "twisted monkey tutorial", it's a more detailed tutorial I wrote for my blog.

  • stupid song.. but i love it.. hahaha

  • Hello, I am curious how you went from inking this in PS, to having selectable paths in Illustrator ? Did you live trace after creating the inked image in PS?

If so, I really need to pick up a large tablet.. I am tired of creating my linework the HARD WAY in Illustrator by mouse.. (pen tool-ing every shape! Not fun!). Thanks! Cheers!

  • @HAMMERxHCA Yes, I used Live Trace. I would buy a Cintiq, inking with regular tablets it's a pain.

  • Great looking work, but I have a question that has really been nagging me. I don't get how after live trace, you can select the white interiors of shapes. After I livetrace, they are 'empty' so to speak. I can't select them, therefore can't fill them with color. The shapes are the stroke. Not including the fill. What am I missing here? It seems you just start selecting right after livetrace...

  • @brocktooon Right click over the lineart > release compound path... then you will get a black shape with lot of white shapes on top.

  • @00SOSNewbie00 i need to finf out how to color these things please!!!! i cant color the things i want either!!!

  • @NIP28 Click on the lineart, right click> release compound path.

  • @JamalAbz1 Any suggestion? Browse Jamendo music under creative commons license (or any other site you know) and choose one you like for the next video.

  • @00SOSNewbie00 , Thanks Its really good stuff you are doing, the videos are great . i shouldnt have really commented on the music it is a minor thing after all, i just turned the sound off. Just keep doing what you doing and ill keep watching :)

  • @JamalAbz1 No problem buddy, the thing is there are just a few groups that provide music under creative commons license (free for non commercial use).

  • Well done.
