More like they experienced with new music instead of playing themselves out with the same ole shit, made heavy riffs without the stereotypical equipment, followed the NWOBHM trend of playing heavy music but also experiencing with other tastes, and made money because they are business saavy and not idiots throwing devil horns because they're in league with Satan.
Oh and please tell me you know that Cliff Burton introduced James and Lars to Lynard Skynard and classical music!!
