Carefully use a knife (I did) or flathead screwdriver at the seam (where the light glows) and keep going back and forth, eventually you'll be able to use your hand and pry it apart. Don't worry about the wires you'll see they're only for the light/power.
Just saw you posted a month ago, but hey maybe this will help someone else.
I call it cheap comp usa enclosure. I should know since i got three of them, all of thier original ide cables toast and the top cover unable to fit (a byproduct of having 15 7200 ide hard drives [totaling 340gb] :D)
I have a new 1.5T Seagate External Harddrive and would love to know how to open it. There are no screws anywhere. Suggestions anyone.

did you just make a video showing how to open a cheap Insert Your Own Drive external enclosure?
do you really need instructions for something so obvious?
what's next? a video of you opening a car door poorly? in low light? with a shaky camera? stopping every other moment to show us the face of a moron?

Yes, tweezers. Not well thought out plan. In retrospect, a razor blade would have been a better tool but whatever. It worked!
