@revill2 Urban Freeflow isn't all about competition. There isn't 'factions' of parkour. You just do it. Stop getting tied up with who is with who and who doesn't agree who who's ideals, that ruins the entire point of parkour. Let UF do what UF does.

I do you train so you don't end up in the hospital when you go to a place with pavement. i see plenty of parkour fails on youtube. I love watching the Proffessionals though. They're like water flowing through everything

I once read in a skateboarding book that skateboarders don't see just a bench or a pot. they see something to grindo and to jump and kickflip over. I didn't get that much, I had to try to think of the things. however, I can now look at a simple wall with some stairs next to it, and I can think of all of the ways to get past it. parkour is awesome. it lets me do that

I find it amazing how a space can be explored. Whereas the normal bystander would simply walk through this, perhaps at most jumping over a bar to get where they are going, Dan and Forrest show an almost infinite amount of variations in how a person can travel within and through this little space. So many different movements are shown in this little space that certainly wasn't designed for such movements. They are discovered.

I have came back to watch this classic clip many times, and it is still is inspirational and touching as the first time I saw it.
