  • where can i get the sheet music for this??

  • Chopin wasn't Asian. And he wrote the damned thing.

  • i have that jacket that you wear

  • The piece could probably use some slow practice in order to bring it up to tempo. A bit more range in the dynamics would do well, too, as there currently isn't much contrast between the forte and piano passages in the main theme.

  • :0 i love it!!:3 nice nice nice.

  • The way your hands moving is really amazing. Its like flying in the piano keys :D

  • The way your hands moving is really amazing :D its like flying in the piano...you have done really well :D

  • look at those fingers :O

  • @caulimay

i know right?!?!, having long fingers is such an advantage when you are playing the piano .. =/

it's like you can play any piece..

  • @caulimay

ow and yeah.. so fast :)

  • wow .. what a talent

  • make please tutorial:)

  • LOL @ asian comment XD

BTW i like your jacket! :D

  • Subbed~I have some music to share with you also. =]

  • wao...!! :-bd

    u so cool

  • HOLY SHIZZ! your fingers look so elegant but their effing FAST!!!!!

  • is envy your long finger T_T

  • thats true..

  • He wear like popeye

  • people need to stop with this " its cause hes asian " stuff... anyone can achieve this if they put time and effort to practice everyday.

  • @Tr1balArt I'm guessing ur not asain :P

  • @Tr1balArt but who would put this much time and effort into it if their family honor wasn't at stake? (and therefore they are asian?)

  • @badsalad313 People play an instrument not just because they have to but because the love to.... instruments is a way to express your feelings from the heart

  • @Tr1balArt this. People need to learn the meaning of the phrase "practice makes perfect".

  • @ShinobiSasukeUchiha Practice make progress, nothing can ever be really perfected. You never know when someone plays it better, mainly because they play through the dynamics and key signatures. There is no definite perfection, just progress through enumerate practice.

  • @SyaoranXiaoLi "practice make perfect" is just a commonly-known phrase. :/ I didn't coin it. Since I was a child, I've always been told that line. I know nothing can ever be perfected, but that's just how the phrase goes. Every American knows that phrase.

  • @Tr1balArt yeah tell 'em, thats what i did! but still im asian xD

  • @Tr1balArt don't forget that you need to be asian too.

  • @IckyWicky123 over 9000

  • Only Asians can do that.

  • @qwerty845john ^^ why? lol

  • Your parents must be proud... Oh wait, they're Asian...

  • @TrickGabriel jealous¡?¡?¡?¡?¡?¡

  • @malavida77 Haha, I guess so. : P

  • @TrickGabriel Shut the fuck up, I'm asian. I play the piano, violin, guitar, cello and drums. Well, blonds or whites, they think they are good enough sometimes but this is just being RACIST.

  • @l3naleexxFreak sadface.

  • Doesnt have to do fucking anything with being asian or not, its about how hard you train, if you train as hard as them, you'll get as good as them.. simple as that..

  • @vengadorsky well it just so happens that it's more common to see an Asian doing that ;-)

  • i thought u hit wrong ... but when i saw the time played was more than 2 minute ... i figure that u 'r perfectly done <3 ... but still , where's the part they used in that film ???

  • very good : )

  • Asian or not, practice makes perfect.

  • ohh, what does it care?? jay chou is asian he is good if u want to be very good u need have to pratice

  • i need music sheet ?could u help me ?

  • i'm feel sorry for your mother because you were probably born with a piano in your hand

  • Chopin op. 10 number 5 ...What does the op. stand for?

  • @zewenwu it means opus. If an op 10 number 5 means it's a work numbered 10 and this is the 5th piece in the whole opus.

  • @zewenwu opus

  • I'm an asian too and i can't play piano my fingers are very short even though my height is average hehe!!! Not all asian have long fingers and can play piano well, it is talent that just have develop to be more and more excellent.

  • so actually jay chou play it with several variation?

  • O.O

    wow

  • I am asian and I do not think being good at piano has any thing to do with it. I teach myself how to play but im always scolded because when i attempt to learn a song I never finish it when I see my friends at school who attend music club learn it in a week and they are not asian. the true key is dedication thats what makes you good.

  • @verymary123 agreed...usually, when I put a certain song to my personal favourite list, I'd do anything to search the music sheet...when I have the music sheet, I would start on teaching the music to myself...I'd sit on the piano bench for hours..lo and behold, I only managed to get past the first 2 or 3 pages...if it has like 7 pages, then bye-bye..I won't be playing it anymore..>< looks like I have to have someone to rub it in on me..or else the sheet'll only rot under the bench. I'm n Asian 2

  • Great!!

  • im asian i have very short finger i can barley play an octive

  • Beeing Asian has nothing to do with his fingers. I'm african and have long fingers (I play the piano to). And saying that because he is an asian ofc he's good, and that we will never be as good as him.. well that's a lie. My piano teacher once said, that if I want to be very good I have to practice. TO be better you must focus on practicing. That guy that is playing has probably practiced so hard many days to perform this wonderful piece.

  • @roblover96 I'm Asian and I have short, stubby fingers...and I could probably get some injuries too because some of the notes to a song is pretty hard to press...being it FAR AWAY APART FROM EACH other...I usually have to cancel one of the notes..and yeah, you have to practice a lot..if not, you can pretty much say good bye to being a marvelous pianist...you can be one, but with hours and hours of practice..

  • every chick who watches this is thinking about those fingers

  • tired of these commercials!!!

  • verry nice

  • Love it ^^, ur fingers remind my of mine :D

  • 踩板不对,下次练好了才发。谢谢

  • you're amazing man !!! you've one of those fingers...!!!

  • love ur melody too much ^^ !

  • Spider fingerssss !

  • WOW that's good!

  • you need practise dude :)

dont smach the keys so hard, this melody is supposed to be played like touching velvet.

  • great .. perfect. sha will teach my child.

    greetings Indonesia Raya..

  • wt the fuck are you playing??!

  • holy shit..

  • where's the key change? :)

  • @Qboy316 this is the original version, etude Chopin op10 no5, there is no key change as u see in the movie

  • nicely done :D

  • ..very amazing

  • holy shit. thats amazing.

  • You want to work on playing this piece technically AND musically. If you just smash the keys you're gonna end up being like Lang Lang. LOL jk.

But you should really consider redoing it. I never played this piece, but even I can tell that it needs work.. :/

  • did u change the key by any chance?

  • why do urs dun sound the same as jay chou? sorry no offence but i watched the movie alot of times so i could recognize.

  • @tammyleey this is chopin's etude in g# minor ( black keys) Jay made his own variation of this to use in the piano battle scene of his movie

hope that cleared things up :)

  • wtf shit version

  • Part of it is the part I recognize from Piano Battle, But Later theres a different part, Is that the actual thing or your own improv?

  • of course youre asian

  • @stlsgreatest27

Being asian has nothing to do with it T_T.

  • @keetner but it helps! 90% of all the pianists I see are Asian!

lol obviously it really has nothing to do with it, but believing that's why helps us cope with the fact that we will never be that good :P

  • @10n3r

So instead of owning up to your own shortcomings in life, you instead push the blame on Asians? Basically karlng888 will never be recognized for their innate talent. Forever labeled as asian, their talent will strictly come from some bizarre connection with their skin colour.

Spewing out such comments...it merely creates mental barriers and handicaps for those who would fall to sociological labels.

  • @keetner lol no no no! it was a joke, learn how to take one. Duh being Asian has nothing to do with it.

keetner, I'm sure you're the life of the party, but taking offense to everything is annoying. I am Puerto Rican, does that make me a loud moth hispanic? I am one, but not because I'm hispanic..... He is Asian, does that make him a piano prodigy? He is one, but not because he's Asian.

Taking offense to everything... it merely creates annoying comments, so yeah,

    TLDR take a joke ;P

  • WOOOAAAAOOOWWW...

    \^O^/

  • this isn't the secret version, it's chopin's etude in g# minor

  • @EpicBloo it can be call as black keys =]

  • Whow that's so good! O.O Haha I'm jealous of your fingers (I wish mine would play like that XD)

  • wow. that was stunning D: !

  • so awesome!!!

  • Good job man! That's a difficult piece, and you play it very clean!

  • ...

  • everyone's gotta love octopus hands .... -_-.....

  • u know this is not the battle one.. this is just chopin op 10 n 5 its not from movie secret.

  • is this one much easier than the white keys one?

    sheets please xd

  • @LamWeiXing I don't think there is a "white keys" one. Black keys are just the nickname for this piece.

  • he changed it all the black keys. :P still awesome :)

  • @SophiaD1000 the original had no white keys lol i think

  • @fdyadft I guess so.. but I think Jay Chou's rearrange the one sounds more eolande.. :P

  • this reminds me of two things

    1. JayChou's movie

    2. Family Outing cooking scenes

  • ...Holy fucking shit o_o

  • @MARiONN3TT3 LMAO

  • @Kambuz44 LMAOO!! yeah i know the sound quality might not be great but this guy is AMAZING!! thumbs up if you agree!!

  • Piano Hero :D

  • Interesting choice of fingering LOL...

Your technique is pretty good, but you just could not express the feel of the song. And also, the way you used the pedal cut of a lot of the notes from your left hand.

    Nice attempt though.

  • @Kambuz44 *Piece

  • 没换去白键?

  • i looove this song! so pretty!

  • Nice piece... Impressive... I'm going to learn this piece man...

  • O.O

  • attempt.

    stress on attempt.

  • WOW, that's like crazy!!

  • damn

  • i think i just died ... that was amazing O_o

  • I bet I could do that.....it might take a while to get used to XP

  • how u make ur fingers move so fast? i jus cant.... :(

  • ur fingers are so long O_o

  • @xXBUKLAUXx you know what else is long? ;)

  • @vandiagram THE SONG RIGHTTTT?

  • is this hard to read of a score? like lots of sharps or flats etc?

  • AMAZING!!!!!!

  • OMG! You're fingers are moving so fast it's crazy! How do you do this?!! You are amazing! :)

  • OMG, this is amazing , Do you by any chance have music sheets for this ? D:

  • wow ur ... just wow... O= if only my fingers could play as fast as that xP (being a flutist i should, but i just cant xP)

  • jay is better

  • @ninjagaru Because he's asian.

  • this is really good. a bit more emphasis on musicality and it'll be perfect

  • amazin',u r as fantastic as Jay!

  • Wow, those 49 people who didn't like this are crazy.

  • Holy balls o: I'm in love.

  • YOU'RE AMAZING=D

  • 49 people miss the "like" button.

  • @Shuffleboy34

why is there a comment like yours on nearly every video?

  • nice to,,,

  • Still think the number of view is too little x.x

  • love this song :P

  • holy shit

  • OMG!!, very good!

  • good....! i think youre better than jay chou.. but he's still a lot cuter.. hehe

  • wow even youtube can't keep up with his ninja fingers!!!

  • beautiful :) and im not just saying that because i saw flo from the progressive commercials play before your video played, making everything on earth look beautiful compared to her >:P

    but really, well played :)

  • i think all of you shld go watch George Li's version as well. He's really good

  • this guy is fast sounds like a cow boy bar

  • @happyboy123123, the left hand IS the melody, not the right

  • cool deal

  • *clap clap clap!!!* stunning job in my opinion!! I like the sounds of the sharps and flats keys but I loath playing them. You did a wonderful job keep up the good work!

  • Positive criticism: Your fingers are too flat, no "egg" shape. Your left hand is too careless and too loud, it's even louder than the melody. Which is unacceptable.

  • @happyboy123123 If you try to play this, I disagree with your first crit. The "egg" shape is hard to maintain in this etude. Even if you play it slower. Maybe if he had Chopin's ginormous hands, he can do the egg shape a little . . .

  • wow

  • PRE-TTY GOOD.

now next step is to work on the interpretation a bit more.

and if u want to look a bit more pro. where something with black sleeves when u make a vid

  • @1Sedicar I don't think his intent is to look pro. It's more to entertain.

  • Comment removed

  • wow! COOL!!! it's really hard to play, isn't it??

  • lol fast fingles LOL!

  • Meh, it was alright.

If by 'alright' I mean FREAKINCREDIBLE, that is.
