  • You don't expect to hear this kind of sound from a ukulele.... All I can think of is "Tiptoe Through the Tulips"... :) This is great!

  • @LittleDende

always good to surprise people! :-)

  • Excellent! :)

  • well done!

  • absolutely stunning!

  • Yeah I need to learn how to play my ukulele better. On that note, well done my friend!

  • well done! reminds me of the curse of monkey island

  • talentueux ...

  • Very nice

  • well, it sounds like Hoist That Rag! And if it doesnt... great job too!

  • jomonero, tio, no hables de ignorancia mientras escribes ''ha seguir en la ignorancia'', esa, amigo mio, es una patada en la boca al castellano

aunque en linias generales tengas razón... ¡Es la fama que tiene ese país!

  • amazing. that's all i can say

  • I think I'm playing this version more the Mr Waits original.... I love this!!! one of the funkiest ditties on a uke!!!!

  • this makes my heart feel happy. thank you.

  • my pleasure.... :-)

  • Man, hats off. That was superb.

  • No es una versión de Waits incultos, lo que pasa es que Tom se inspiró en un ritmo básico del son güajiro para su canción pero claro como esa música no les interesa a los yankees pues nada, ha seguir en la ignorancia que es como mejor se está

  • absolutely awesome

  • This video is truly my favorite on all of youtube.

I have watched it innumerable times, it rivals the original.

  • Great job! It is beautiful.

  • Und wiedermal: KLASSE!! Du bist super!!

  • Danke! :-)

  • nicely played. great talent. i also am a fan of the black and white effect you did to the video. how'd you do it?

  • It is one of the preset effects in Windows Movie Maker.

  • Great job !!!

  • It's very surreal hearing this song done pretty & gentle...huge change, but you do it well :)

  • beautiful

  • nice nice nice, gteat song and a very nice interpretation!

  • nice job, is that a bari uke? I have one, and I was actually working on the same tune when I came across your rendition. How odd. Wish you hadn't done the stupid black/white effect though, it would help me pick out some things if you hadn't. But whatever, one of the most musical things I've ever seen someone record of themselves on here.

  • thank you - it is a concert size, not baritone...

I want to do a better performance since ages, but just always forget about it.

Those mistakes are annoying. Next video will have a clear picture, I promise! :-)

    ww

  • Here's a new version without the b/w effect and a good view on the fretboard...

    ;-)

  • tom waits is not the kind of wheel you fall asleep at

  • for one, ukulele is the shit; and for two, you are amazing at it. you should proposition tom and see if he needs a new 'uk player.

  • WOW. When I saw the description for this I was like "the h?" but WOW. Very different and cool. You play that uke well.

  • now that's cool.

-Don't fall asleep while you're ashore, brother.

  • This song gives me chills every time I hear it and I just so happen to seach this song just now and to say I am blown away is understating my emotions. I`ll just have to leave it at what the 1st guy said; "Wow!"

    Peace out!

    TAMMRON
