Funny how some people wants unity under their terms only. Conditional unity wont work. You have to be willing to accommodate just as much as you want them to accommodate. Is just like a marriage. You can't just tell someone be like me, be like me! without trying to understand who they are. However, I would agree that everyone than migrates to the US should at least make an effort to learn English. knowing a second language is a good thing.

I think it's good that there's a Spanish mass and Latino events. It may give English speakers an opportunity to learn another language if they're interested, then the Spanish speakers could learn English better too. Then there'd be unity.

Obviously she doesn't want unity that bad because she would maybe go to some of the Latino's events and become friends with them, and then invite them to their English events.
