I think the Chorus was actually singing their songs. I just got through watching the DVD of the Believe tour from Atlanta's Fox Theater. They had the gweneth school choir with them but they lipsynced to a recorded track of the kids singing. I don't think PS22 was lipsyncing to this,

I love the emotion on each one of their faces and their natural movements... It's so hard to get adults to not look dead when they're singing and it comes fluidly for these kids. So impressed. Not to mention their singing. =)

Amazing concert! Amazing mucisians - instrumentalists and vocalists! I admire both groups specially the vocal arrangements made which was layered for the Celtic Woman providing superb definition, the PS22 Choir provided the depth and the CW backup choir provided the breadth of one of my favorite song. Mairead doesn't sing during the performances. The mic normally picks up only the violin. She's had one line out of all the songs they performed over the years. If you look carefully at the orchestra violinists, Mairead is using a clasical rest position when the violinist isn't playing only Mairead is standing up. She has three rest positions that I have seen in the video(DVD) of the group performing.

Not surprising at all. I had a concert violinist in one of my classes in college she talked with an even heavier accent than ANY of the Celtic Woman but one she sang and WOW her voice was sooooo much different from her speaking voice
