@julionica Hello! If English isn't your first language, like it is with me, I made myself some tips when I was taking the certification (TOEFL). Of cource, the phonetic letters are essentials. ATC's also use numbers like "niner" for nine, for example. Also, you can hear them refer to other frequencies all the time. That's because the airspace on and around the airport is splitted into several sections. Also, if you're not english, try to think in english, that really helps me.
@simpledudeable who said it's always so serious? If anything it's one of the least serious environments I have ever worked in. When it gets busy it's serious because safety is paramount...otherwise it's a laugh!
@simpledudeable Yes of course Professionalism should be carried out at all times but with a stressful Job like this you gotta' add some humor as long it's not going to put anyone in danger.
Yay Go Kiwi Controllers!

Someone should get an OMDB stream up on LiveATC. That would be very convenient.

ClimbFL400 1 year ago
@ClimbFL400 well, i thought, according to the FAA, all responsibles should not mess around
simpledudeable 1 year ago
@simpledudeable Mate the Yanks joke around the most. Just because the FAA say you can't do this and that doesn't mean people wont do them.
HeathrowSpottingHD 4 weeks ago
@simpledudeable And also the FAA is only the US.
HeathrowSpottingHD 4 weeks ago
@HeathrowSpottingHD I know, but if it's an FAA law, it's most probably a world-wide standard.
