Obama seems like a guy who is very sensitive to criticism because he is used to being praised and supported by MOST of the media. When he is criticized on Fox News, it turns into a major event because Obama is simply not used to criticism.
You have a point as there are some respected journalists on Fox News that are "fair and balanced". I would even include O'Reilly in this bunch of being "fair and balanced".
But it's the other folks (Beck and Hannity) that make the most noise and drown out the others. It seems like Hannity clearly hates him while Beck called the guy a racist, but then he said he wasn't. (Even I'm still confused with that)
The White House isn't asking Fox News to kiss their ass, they're just asking that they be respectful. It's okay to disagree with someone - but at least be respectful about it. The real journalists on Fox should teach this to their fake counterparts that are ruining it for them.

I do not watch the news all that much. I try to find out most of my stuff off the internet including web sites, pod cast, and other variable places. I listen to both sides Democrat and republican. I do not watch the news all that much. I try to find out most of my stuff off the internet including web sites, pod cast, and other variable places. I listen to both sides Democrat and republican. Over the years i have found a dislike for Fox News, I feel like they are more " entertainment news " than Informational news. Should i remind you about " Internet Hate Machine " LOL!?!?
