keep up! happy it was helpful! try it for 40 days, if you don't have time for the full times given, divide them up equally! I would love to hear what it offers to your life after a bit of practice! Sat nam! ~blessings, Raji
I just found a text description of Kirtan Kriya on a website, then came here and found your video. I have started so many meditation routines in the past and quickly abandoned them, because they were either too complicated to remember, or too difficult to put into practice (long sitting trying to make the mind completely blank). I think this Kirtan Kriya is one I can keep going with. Thanks for your clear instructions.
Thank you for posting this instructional video. One question: Since it looks like this meditation is done with eyes closed, how does one know when each 5 minute period is up?
Yes, Kate, this meditation is done with the eyes closed. Setting a timer is the best way to keep track of the time, this also helps to avoid, clock watching. Sat Nam, and what a great question! ~Raji

This mantra relates to the five primal sounds of the universe. sss-ttt-nnn-mmm-aaa
sa: infinity, ta: life na: dearth/transformation ma: birth. it balances the hemisperes of the brain and increases intuition. It describes the continuous cycle of life. However, if it doesn't resonate, pick a meditation that speaks to your heart! All blessings to you, Raji
