Yeah damage isn't that realistic, would love it to have the damage physics of GRID. But for a hardcore racing simulator for the XBOX 360 this is as good as it gets!!! Good example video btw, i've had similar incdents in the 87's

Great game but Simbin never has really been good at making realistic crashes. In Race Pro the crashes sound like bones cracking or something. I mean compare to Burnout Paradise and GTA IV. But in everything else Simbin just rocks!

i think i like Race07/GTR Evolution's crash physics more than Race Pro's... RP's crashing feels... weird.........

The video is good, but the car that hit the car that had spun round and flipped it over wouldn't have just carried on like that in a real race. I think the damage needs to be more sensitive.

I actually think there is something wrong with the game detecting damage. I smashed up the arse of a few cars on a 10-lap run at Laguna Seca and had a crushed bonnet but still managed to get the achievement for winning a pro race without damaging your car.

I think the graphics are alright. One thing i hate about this game is the damage, you can slam 80mph into a wall and be able to carry on driving

Agreed, damage should be more damaging especially at the higher difficulty levels. It would add to this game especially in online races, rubbing is racing with a scrape and maybe a scratch but hit hard enough and dents and broken bits falling off should be occurring.

dude just got it tuesday it is an awsome game definatley worth getting although the online play can get a little jumpy at times still great.

If you're after a bare bones racer that simulates racing then nothing beats this imo. Once online is good to go this game is going to shine!

Nice vid... not THAT realistic though because the car that slammed into the side of the spun car and flipped it over wouldn't have carried on like that. he'd likely have suffered some really heavy front end damage and messed up his front suspension.

Race Pro does allow full on crashing, but does not allow the player to use bad driving to force AI drivers out of the way. In a way it's quite good, you can't just tap the guy in front up the arse going into a corner in Race Pro there is no point, makes people become better race drivers imo.

Classic vid mate, Ive had some similar moments but nothing like that, Ive came round a corner in F BMW`s at Pau and seen a big pile up with one of them on its side against the wall, was still there next lap but got free after that, Ive also seen them wiggling like in this vid, Maybee loosing control and stability under braking ! Nice Vid !
