I love how you are not afraid to use a whip. I have to use one with my haflinger while longing and I get some serious backlash from several people about it even though I am using it correctly. Thank you for supporting all of us who need whips with our horses.
this video is FANTASTIC! I have 1 Arab & 3 Arab/crosses that need to learn this. Some more than others! I didnt think you were unfair to him at all. You didnt react emotionally nor were you mean, you were logical and methodical. WELL done! I have recommended your videos to 2 of my friends and they are enjoying your straight forward approach as well.
@cornye2993 it is all the touch feely of course the same people would it is alrighty to runhim in around pen until his head drops because he is wore out. thanks for coment
Fantastic! I wish more people would take leadership with their animals--dogs and cats included. What a little stinker this colt was, but I'm sure he's turning out just fine.
Great stuff. Love the raw horse training. It is exciting to watch even for experienced trainers!!!! Beautiful little horse, he is gonna be a good one when you are done with him. Thanks for showing the real part of training!
FANTASTIC. Tried "the 7 games" thing with my colt just before you posted this. I was not totally happy with the result. Now after watching this post I can see what I have to do to accomplish it properly. thanks David. You ROCK
Sorry, you weren't feeling your best and hope you're feeling better than ever now. You're doing a great thing helping us learn to be better horsemen and I hope you know how much all your hard work is appreciated. Thank You!
You are a man after my own heart! You train like I do And the way That should Be! To many people follow Paralli as If hes God and RUIN there horses. Or they treat them like Giant puppies and Dont discipline them! Great videos
Thanks so much for putting in all the time that you do making these videos. You've helped me (more importantly, my horse) a lot, and you really are appreciated. Much respect :0)
Poor little horsey,,,,, my foot! It is so refreshing to see your training. When a horse is trying to hurt you, you give em sugar (correction). I love it :) Thanks!
Good video! I had a rescue last year that thought he could run through me, kick me, and bite. I was being a goody two shoes but another person at my barn took pity on me and showed me how to do exactly what you did in this video. That horse is now coming along nicely and we have built respect. I wish more people would advocate this style of training - it's priceless. Thanks again!
in the process of this procedure what do u do if the horse is trying to bite you
