The difference is apple makes great products so they can stretch the truth a little More and people still believe it. Microsoft doesn't even try because they know their shit sucks. Me? i run Linux Because i want My computer to work the way i want it to. Not the Way they want it Too. if i had 100% driver compatibility with everything i use. i would never step out of Linux. :-)

safari is much faster on a mac bc it was built in and made for it. my dad downloaded safari to his pc and it was slow too, but on the mac, safari is faster than internet on a pc
Just duplicated this test on win7 beta using firefox, safari, and IE 64. startup time on IE64/Firefox were about same with safari lagging far behind. IE7 and Firefox displayed page just a half a second after double click while safari although executed first lagged behind a second or two. Was using the firefox google page on all 3 as home page. It will be a little harder to figure out after initial boot though which is faster to fully display a page though.
