After bulky phones like the vario the iphone and the odd brick from LG, I had enough of pointless apps and other useless shite! so I asked my op for a small phone that was fairly basic. he showed me the 6600 slide. After a few weeks of use I love it! it does exactly what I need it to do! it has good games downloadable for free, an excellent mp3 player, mp4 movie player and a good camera. Anyone who thinks this phone doesnt have enough things to play with doesnt need a phone they need a penis!

this is a very poor phone.. t-mobile sent it to my dad...we sent it back the next day...i think this phone is the worst nokia to date..no functions what-so-ever! Trust me you dont know how bad it is until you have one. I dont recomment this phone to anyone

its just is poorly made (cheap), camera quality was the pits! i was expecting more..phone wasn't satisfying. simple as... no offence if your happy with it, i just wasn't. I wouldn't advise people to go out and buy it when's theres much better phones on the market. I love nokia mobiles but just not this one.

i bought this phone 2 weeks ago. i think it's a very classy beatiful men's phone. 6500 the previous model stucked when i open/close the slide mechanism 6600 doesn't! it's very shiny so when you hold it your finger tips are all over the phone and i didn't like the sound from the speaker nokia put it on the wrong side but that's ok it's not a music phone anyway. my general opinion good choice

Double tap just to show a clock? Just press the big button (surrounded by a blue line) and you'll se the date and time! (Some times you have to "tap" really hard to show the clock)

Nokia 6600 has two cameras, but you can only shoot with the one in the back!! You cannot shoot yourself while watching the screen.

There is no side buttons for volumen, so if you want to change the volumen, you have to slide your finger between the phone and your face... uhm! perhaps this is the reason why this phone is called "slice"!

You cannot connect the handsfree (hearphone) while you are talking because the conector is in the upper side of the phone: you have to "close" the phone to open the connector door, so the conversation is also terminated!

Also you cannot charge the battery using the USB data cable. After about 6 hours the battery is still empty (even if the screen says that is charging).

Very bad phone. I've one and in few days I return to my old Samsung. This phone is really basic. The speaker is in the "back" of the phone, so if you put it on a table (as usual!) you can hardly hear the incoming call sound! (try to put it over a pillow!). If you want to buy Nokia, go ahead, but don't buy this version!
