Great series of videos. The attacks are real, but amplification, and more importantly, USE of fear by whoever thinks it's a good way to run a country, that is the problem. A true government facing a "terrorist attack" would try to avoid panic, not make it bigger.

This reminds me of Richard Dawkins, speaking about absolute morality and , beside the fact it is an insult to the human, is what makes people behave in an absolutely immoral way (killing/putting in jail innocent people etc.)

Unfortunately one key aspect of inaccuracy in this documentary is, that there is/was indeed a threat that is not just completely manufactured. We have seen this since the filiming of this; terror cells have been active 7/7 and The Glasgow airport attempt aswell various arrests. The applification of fear may be due to the complexity andinefficiency of actually dealing with modern terrorism. Terrorism which actually has no central base/authority.

A really good series, it shows how people are manipulated by politicians and mass hysteria takes hold. Like a snowball effect. But the political propaganda is distributed in a subtle way so we think its true using pseudo-science. After all who can you believe if not your own government and their statistics? The majority of people now suspect politicians are liars so it up to the people to take individual moralistic decisions which arent based ideology or non-secular viewpoints.

For me these series were very interesting. But the man in the end of this video is totally wrong. We have our way of living, and that is a wonderful life. I love London. I love many places in Europe. Our way of living is GREAT! I say to that man sitting on the chair: go to Afganistan if you think it's better.

This was a great series, but I was a bit disappointed at what seemed like a confused and simplistic understanding of the precautionary principle. The idea isn't that you imagine the worst, but rather the idea is that you admit the limits of imagination. Instead of relying on imagination, it's proposed that it's better that actions are based on data. When the data is lacking, choices should be made carefully. It's a warning against acting drastically and blindly.
