It wasn't a huge riot; the old New Haven Arena was much smaller than the coliseums today. I remember being squashed up against the wall by a bunch of milling, pissed-off people. It was kind of scary. Morrison was arrested for dropping the f-bomb, but you could tell the cops were just waiting for an excuse.

But when he was living on the edge, there really was no tomorrow for him. I don't think he ever pretended otherwise.

No one mentions the pressure he was under , being a Huge "sex- symbol" and expected to deliver a great performance over and over agin, and deal w/ fame etc...It could not have been easy.He absolutely was agreat poet and wanted to be knownas such.
