Turnpike Troubadours - "Austin To Ashes" ***LIVE***

I would like to formally state I think the "Austin to Ashes" song written by Casey Sliger, formerly of The Turnpike Troubadours is an awesome song. I looked for information on Casey, but couldn't find much. If he is still writing and performing we would love to hear form him, and some more of his songs. We thought Kyle Nix did a great job singing and playing guitar to it also. Thanks for setting the record straight folks!

If you knew us at all you would know we are all about the songwriters as well as the musicians. we just really liked the song, and thought this guy did a great job of singing it. We had never heard it before. We will be sure to look up Casey Sliger. BUt I have to disagree with you about the Turnpike Troubadours though, THEY ROCK DUDE!!! :D
