I would be scared to death to put that many corals in a setup that new! I cycled mine for over a year before I had placed any coral in and even then was rough going due to the rise and fall of water levels but anyhow good luck!! nice looking tank
paying alot for saltwater fish is foolish game of margins. I bought a 150 g and 70 gal for $400 with 40 + lbs of livestock protein skim etc, find old dudes who gave up on the hobby in 93. I built a metal halide for $200 inc ballast wiring bulb. add 2 power compact thats all u need mabe $600 max for best lighting. buy livestock from craigs etc. dont be fooled ive had great reef tank 2 yrs I spend 20 min a month on it and it looks great. use you brain not ur wallet
hey try not to stack the rocks like a wall a 150 is still a 72" tank but from the video it looks like a 29 try to make spaces between the rocks so fish can swim through it and try to keep the rock off the glass. do biggest peices on the bottem if you u can rescape this
Oh and not to be a jerk but the tank was pretty expensive ha-ha the final estimate just for the tank and the lighting and the construction was about the price of a s 550 mercedes
It is 150 gallons, the dimensions are incredibly odd, i'm in no way trying to brag my money, that is just ignorant and rude. Sorry if i came off that way. And Babydolphin I'll get back to u on that, they are very very nice lights but kind of expensive, ill get the link to em for u in a bit. Oh and by the way my tank has been updated, 2 clowns, 1 yellow angel, 1 carpet anemone, about ten more mushroom colonies, acanthestrea, some clams, 2 blood red shrimp and 2 cleaner shrimp, new vid soon...
Thats not a 150, You might be excited about having a wall mount but be honest. Making a wall mount is just as costly as buying a stand, most times even cheaper.
How much was this setup??
