  • why did he cut off that kids pants? what is some kind of flying faggot?

  • The first 3 minutes is easily the best ever scene ever filmed!

  • chills

  • 0:00 best scene of all times

  • The kid who flies by at 3:10 is probably like...."finally the track is open."

  • "To die would be a grand adventure" - Pan the Man

  • See the kid at 0:53

Thats the person who does the voice acting for Zuko in Avatar: Last airbender.

  • it had to buffer at :29 ~:{ GODDAMIT

  • 18 people were hooks men

  • Dammit I wanna fly so bad.

  • Thank you Scotland for giving us Peter Pan.

  • Greatest scene ever from the best movie ever.

Everything is just magic, the music, the feelings, emotions, even the special effect, magic

Why can't Spielberg, or any other director, make magical movies any more? Since they are what movies should be about and is: magic How I miss my childhood:) Back then I ued to watch Hook on holidays, Christmas, Easter and on Summer breaks.

Poor children of today, who misses out on great film, such as this one.

  • @jajceboy i fully agree.

  • Who the hell hit the dislike button for this!

  • I love the music of this video

  • Forget Robin, look at Rufio! Dante Basco, you can be the father of MY babies any day. <3 Zukooooo

  • This scene always brings so much happines inside me <3

  • I watch this and back to the future.... I need a time machine.

  • That fat kid is proper buzzing whens hes flying about

  • Just got chills too! I have trouble watching this seen because the childhood memories that are evoked make me emotional!

  • Robin was perfect for this role as a grown up peter pan!!

  • PANNNN

  • I have often dreamed that I was Peter Pan.

The ultimate freedom of flying around.

Unencumbered by the stress and obligations of life.

This extraordinary gift is powered by happy thoughts.

Peter forgot how to fly because he became too distracted with the parts of life that don't actually bring happiness.

That is why it's so triumphant that he remembers how to fly.

All the greatest things in life come from happiness and love, and not from fear.

    Remember the beauty of childhood.

    Life IS a game.

  • my favourite move from my childhood ! :D

  • the 15 people that disliked this video are pirates

  • @heroislegend JAKE AND THE NEVERLAND PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just got chills

  • Im sry but his corowing sounds like a mentally handicapped rooster

  • This was, by far, the greatest film of my childhood ;)

  • Wow this scene takes me back. This is one of my favorite childhood movies and this part in particular is definitely my favorite. Its so epic when he flies out from the tree-house, not to mention the masterful score by the great John Williams. I think I am going to go watch the DVD now...

  • you're doing it Peter!

  • Pan the Avenger is back.

  • I'm feel like I am four years old again after seeing this!

You can fly, and you fight, and you can crow! Kuukuukuukurrroooooooooooo!!!

  • Also, I had a gigantic crush on Rufio. I thought his mohawk was amazing. (Now it kind of makes me laugh.) I miss the '90s so bad. It was a good time to be a kid.

  • That sparkling grin on Robin Williams' face - he was so perfect for this role. As an adult, I've come to realize that the movie as a whole is less than perfect, but many elements of it are still so amazing nonetheless. This is a sweet piece of my childhood, and I love watching it (especially with my darling three-year-old daughter, who's the same age I was when the movie came out, and who loves it just as much as I do).

  • Excellent. Haven't watched this in 10 years or so. Thx for the memories :)

  • Robin Williams was the magic behind this film, my opinion anyway. His personality and energy made it happen.

  • 15 people are fat grown up pirates!

  • the fist movie i watched in cinema!!thank you grandpa for this very nice momories you gave me.i love you if you can here me from up there

  • Its VHS quality. I'm not sure if you meant to do it that way but it makes it even more memorabel! :D So thank you. BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!

  • John Williams, thank you for giving me my first piano and composing the music for all these brilliant movies.

  • I really don't understand how Steven Spielberg could hate how this film turned out. It's so bloody brilliant.

  • Rufio sounds like Zuko from Avatar O_o

  • @UchihaSurvivor360 'cause he is!

  • @UchihaSurvivor360 He is! Rufio is the voice over for Zuko! :D

  • How could peter give up life in Neverland for the real world. -_-

  • @UchihaSurvivor360 we all did. Haha let's just try to remember and go back to this place once in a while. ;) Cheers.

  • @UchihaSurvivor360 We all did !

  • the music from john williams is great, one of the greatest composers of all time :)

  • @bananas1and2 yer its so tru best scene in the film. epicness perfectly mixed with emotioness. i think my favourite bit is when rufio goes on his knees and says tht classic line u r the pan. music is epic in tht scene. this film is soo underated.

  • pan..... : ) PAAAAAAAN :D HE'S BACK! (ringding) HE'S BACK (ringading) HE'S BACK!!! (ringadingaringading) XD

  • My favorite part? watching "Ended at 3:22" for almost 7 minutes.

  • I remember going to the cinema with my Dad to watch this when i was 7. It's one of my all time favorites.

  • Sucks thay after Rufio gained back Peters alliance he died... But years later he would be reincarnated as Zuko!! And that sword is the sword that i want!!! EpIc!!!

  • @frowerhousestudios indeed. lol. I am watching Avatar: The last Airbender right now.

  • 00:29 Peter never saw that cannon ball coming.

  • This is by far my favorite movie and favorite music score. The BEST.

  • i watch this and I'm 4 years old again :)

  • i can't believe that so many reviews of this movie when it came out were negative, this movie is cemented in my childhood

  • @DylanW216 I must be honest, the trailer for this movie did not really do it justice. But the movie was awesome! I am hoping for another Peter Pan movie.

  • @DylanW216 Yours and pretty much everyone else's of this generation and the one since. I worked at Blockbuster this year and it would rent twice a week, on par with the original Star Wars films. By the time today's children have grown up watching it and are introducing it to THEIR kids, all memory and record of the ridiculous, inexplicable negative reviews of the early 90s will have blown away.

  • @DylanW216 The rewiews today are still negatives...

  • @DylanW216 This movie cemented my childhood together <3

  • Is Back...

  • Put genius Steven Spielgburg and talented Robin Williams together- what do you get? An ageless family masterpiece to watch again and again and again....... without ever getting tired of it. John Williams great for the music as well!

  • 13 people can't crow

  • how can anyone dislike this !? its pure art in the world of movies !

  • EVERYONE GIVE THIS MOVIE A 10 OUT OF 10 ON IMDB!

  • i have discovered how to fly

  • Why this seen makes me sad always?

Don't get me wrong its beautiful, but why?

  • @pepiiku probably because of the music.

  • @stevesport1 yeah, the music is beautiful, its hard to explains the feelings it express

  • @vxpal it makes me think of childhood and my parents, because thats what alot of the movie is based on. I think we can all agree that thinking about being younger and all the time that goes by is pretty sad.

  • @pepiiku

maybe cuz u want to be child again and belive ;)

  • Love when he comes out of the tree

    music fits the bill entirely.

  • hahah 00:29 it looks like he just relized he shit his pants

  • You can fly,

    You can Fight,

    And you can....

    AOOOH, AOOHH AOOH!!!!

    totally epic xD

  • bangarang peter!!!!

  • This takes you back to a time where movies were actually good, and the entire family could watch them without anything to mess it up

  • @grimjowchatham14 I know, the choreography, the cinematography, artistry, and pure brilliance. You just not make movies like these these days it's very sad, both the feeling of when Peter flies and the feeling of his legendary presence using hierarchy, camera angles, and the note of the blade against the ground isn't something to take lightly.

  • My favourite part, hands down. The music, flying into the sun, and the kids' reactions all fit into one perfect, perfect scene. Still get the chills after 20 years of watching this film.

  • @bananas1and2

Totally agree!!! 20 years of this aint enough, this movie is GORGEOUS!!!!!

  • @bananas1and2 Me too. I was 10 when I saw it in the cinema. I remember it moved me deeply, expecially when you see Peter flying with the view of the island from the sky. It reminded me of some images I must have seen in some childbooks or of some dreams I had, some fantasies.

Thi is a very profound movie, I love it

  • @bananas1and2 you tell the truth far most the best movie out there and yes i get those same chillls and tears and excitements im 23 still too this day i first saw this film when i was 6 been my fav sense

  • Respond to this video... omg i figured it out now pans thr crow and rufio is the wolf thats why he had the sword and never flown, he howls at @3:00

  • PAN IS DA MAN!

  • BEST SCENE IN THE MOVIE!!

  • This movie was such a big part of my childhood!! The music is incredible!

  • One of the few movies where the child actors didn't suck, that pudgy black kid had the best expressions, lol.

  • I more love the Peter Pan movie in 2003

  • @ThisJacobNessie u mean the cheesy romantic love story over the awesome 1991 classic action movie

  • Is it me, or does the beginning of this scene define freedom? As a kid I was awe inspired by this scene. How awesome would it be to fly out of the tree tops like this, and soar sky high.

By far my favourite film (still at 22) and my favourite scene.

One word to describe this: epic.

  • pan......... PANNNNNN!!!!!!!!!

  • i seem to recall any rufio

  • @thefoilerlives u got chronical of narnia

  • @thefoilerlives you got that right

  • @thefoilerlives

Actually they do. It's called Super 8 by JJ Abrams and Speilberg.

  • @SquareheadX that movie is complete shit. unoriginal and the only thing it manages to do is pay homage to every classic speilberg movie but in a way where the movie fails.

  • lol that dancing was just as corny back then.

  • I loved this movie as a Child, and I still love it as adult. :-)

  • This music is so beautiful it really creates and stirrrs the mood.

  • 1:20 ha ha i like that dance its...neat

  • I remember as a kid, idolizing and at the same time, being jealous of Peter Pan because he didn't have to grow up and I did. I wanted to be with him. I wanted him to take me to Never Land so every night I waited for him. I swear, this is a true story. I waited for him to come to my window and he never did. I finally found out he wasn't real and it broke me so bad, I cried for days. Truly I believe Peter Pan is real, spiritually. Long live the Pan. Forever.
