@tombonele Given that the Ab is acting as the seventh of a dominant seventh chord, it has to be played quite flat anyway, so playing it in first position actually makes a lot of sense. I would never play it in first at an audition, though.

ok. It was good, but to say 'specialist', it wasn't that good. The legato 'tromboni' in that it wasn't clean. I've heard better from 'non-specialist' pros.
