  • That was great! Very nice playing. I will look to put a video up of my orchestra playing this at the end of April. I'm playing alto, should be fun!

  • @tombonele That's exactly what I was just saying to myself.

  • @tombonele Given that the Ab is acting as the seventh of a dominant seventh chord, it has to be played quite flat anyway, so playing it in first position actually makes a lot of sense. I would never play it in first at an audition, though.

  • ok. It was good, but to say 'specialist', it wasn't that good. The legato 'tromboni' in that it wasn't clean. I've heard better from 'non-specialist' pros.
