I didn't really think that Desplat was good enough for Harry Potter. He's great, sure, but his music is very ornate- and in my eyes some of his compositions didn't fit right in.

BUT i really LOVE this and some other tracks which sound traditional-harry-potter. Furthermore i love the fact that they used some of John Williams themes. So all in all it's cool. :) The film was perfect in the end.

This scene was so impressive and beautiful and awesome in the cinema, July the 12th, about 00:35, Professor McGonagall with "His name is VOLDEMORT!" and the spell "Piertotum Locomotor!"... The score shows the epic before the battle perfectly, and then the huge army of death eaters arrived... It was so great.
