  • @JasonTheGuitarHero Oh yeah! I just want to hump his head!!

  • @JasonTheGuitarHero I hope so! I'm a girl.

  • wut was he smokin a cigarette or a joint at 5:05?

  • Nice faggot hair!

  • What's the real colour of his eyes? I looked it up on the Interwebs, the said that his eyes are blue, but here they look really brown.

  • @GintokisGirl95 Maybe they're hazel or something

  • @Fireinthefudgehole Eyes are blue.

  • oo his hair sucks, but he is still awesome

  • ROBERT WHERE'S YOUR HAIR MAN?

  • VOW OF CELEBACY WHAT?

  • That face the interviewer makes at 3:30 is the picture of insane.

  • I do admire the Hell out of Robert Plant. The only times that he went back to Zeppelin were for one off charitable things instead of to line his pockets.

  • search:

Jake Holmes - Dazed and Confused

  • he looks a bit odd without his longer hair

  • 6:55...sexy! :D

  • Haha, the reporter got OWNED at 2:36 when he asks about an incident with amplifiers. Plant answers "in Copenhagen, yeah", and then the reporter says "in Sweden"! Plant then looks really dejected and once again says "Copenhagen" with a blunt smile. (Copenhagen is the capital of DENMARK...!) Plant is so cool...

  • Gorgeous Plant!!! love him, no matter his age, I'll take him :D

  • woWWWWW!! he looks so different!

  • @Kashmir0109 Thats what I was thinking. :o

  • 'Ohh, they've pulled it out again, here it comes again!' Lol love him!

  • Beautiful singing voice. Big Log & Ship Of Fools amongst others are just magic to listen to.

  • I think he is a very handsome guy, he also had a few good songs being solo, but still he is just one quarter of the best band that has ever existed!!!!

  • I know what are there a bunch of hairdressers on here? lol He's beautiful!

  • Eighties haircut.

  • An incredibly charming and erudite person, a true human being .. a credit to the Black Country.

  • After Zeppelin Percy wasnt good. Im sorry to fans but its true

  • @Klaymator97 He's exactly who he has always been. Open your ears.

  • Cool, humble guy. I also played tennis a lot in '84, Disc Golf now.

  • his long golden locks look better:) hahaha

  • lol - he looks really bad here. that haircut is really embarrassing...

  • Never said i liked it but i just meant it is very noticable.

  • How rare to find someone articulate and intelligent in an age when most 'singers' can' t put 2 words together!

  • I always think the same when I watch Plant's interviews. Here you won't hear any 'uhh, umm' etc. which current 'artists' can't seem to speak without.

  • Ahh the 80s haircut

  • @bushwasher116 is not groovy! i preffer 70's haircut! xD

  • He seems to be auburn-haired here :))))

  • oh my god. He looks like Hal from Malcom in the Middle.

  • Hahahahhahah! He really does.

  • lmfao

  • 'similar'ness is cdertainly uncanny...

  • Donnie Sutherland. Good interview. thught it was pretty straight forward and honest. Ole Percy has a habit of saying stuff that sometimes makes little sense. Here he is articulate and unassuming. Donnie Sutherland always did good interviews.

  • not trying to offend anyone but his hair is priceless!!!! haha XD

  • Lol yeah true. Great muso though

  • Stupid hair cut.

  • Apparently you guys missed the 80s...everyone had hair like that, practically.

  • Glad he went against the grain and grew the hair back. All these old geezers anymore cut it off - but Robert will look the part till he's gone.

  • yeah its crazy to see him with his hair like this, he looks why more awesome with long hair, but looks aside, he is a very talented musician. to bad he wasn't a rebel :{!

  • Rob looks like the guy of Air Supply, sad he got that Hair cut, but still Rob Rules!!!

  • wtf the coke was kicking in? lol because it has a delayed effect right?

  • 80s hair cut the 80s were shit

  • the dude @ 3:31. is the acid kickin in here?

  • it was the 80's so more like the coke was kicking in. LOL

  • The 80's sucked.

  • thats crazy if he did that

  • maybe it was the pics of him making out with phil collins? lol :D hotness and i hate phil! lol

  • how many more times. is my fav on the live dvd

  • 3. Compelled to add few more things, it has to be said, that the `dusty` sound in their earlier recordings was also somehow partly connected to `acoustics`. Remnants of this sound they had still in -72. In altering moods their rock `breaths`, being innovative ENOUGH (in `mellow` proportion) to respire through decades bearing also certain ethnic values. Surprisingly `fresh` and timeless music even today. I consider their best album to be "Led Zeppelin II" and their best song:" Bring it on Home".

  • 2. Robert Plant`s singing is so UNIQUE (in it`s high-level) that one HAS to look proper comparison outside of rock. Only this kind of artists are gipsy flamenco-singers, among whom cognizers have long known to be found the most profound singers in the entire world. In the "Hats of to (Roy) Harper", for example, something reminds me equally, albeit differently, about the truly high-level of Camaron de la Isla, Enrique Morente and Pata Negra to just a name a few. L.Z. arose into fame FOR REASONS.

  • 1. `Led Zeppelin` changed the course of events in rock. That`s not common. -68/-71 they had a magical sound. `Smoky`, deep, intuitive atmosphere is `hand-touchable` in recordings, particularly on `vinyl`. At times raw but multiverse, undefinedly spontaneous, progressive dynamics stays `coherent` in slightly mystical `hold`. Pioneering as a `by product` in it`s creative aspect.

  • all you people with your "i dont like how he looks, his look this, his look that" shut up already. no one cares what you think, especially Robert Plant, he's had more women then you've even seen.

  • @nathansavas AYE! T'was the fuckin 80's - everyone looked weird.....just like everyone in the 90's....and just like everyone now will look in 20 years.

  • @nathansavas I wish I could be one of them. ;)

  • i dont like his hair here it was better long

  • I don't think anyone looks back on their 80s pictures and says "damn, I look good!" much less "damn, I had a good haircut!"

  • aint that the truth, auugghhhh its red thats crazy

  • "I just knew Phil Collins has been a big fan of Led Zeppelin....I have been too..!" :DDDD he's so funny!

  • I am not sure about from the first seconds when you Plant with a clock key in him.

But the background sounds like the Led Zeppelin song, "Kashmir."

It may not be because LZ disbanded in 1980, and Plant went solo after that, so it may be a song from Plant's solo tracks.

  • Theres some nice footage of them playing in the 80's on here I was surprised to find it.

  • what song playing in the background in the beginning part?

  • "Burning Down One Side"

  • @ronfq Moonlight in Samosa

  • Truly sharp and intelligent, with a sense of humor that´s cutting.

  • femullet!!!

  • they all made zeppelin famous you wally

  • yes! but john paul johnes i never heard about until i read his name. he wasnt even introdukted in the DVD in the mothership collectors album

  • they are all geniuses, what a special band.

  • aggree with that:)

  • i think robert plant and jimmy page are what makes led zeppelin famous

  • ummm john bonham made them they way they did. His powerful drums go unnoticed usually, but are crucial. jones was the best mucisian ever, enough said

  • when u say jones was the best, i think you mean the worst. page was a god

  • Jones was actually the best musician. He was a better keyboardist than bassist, and he was an amazing bassist! But Jimmy Page is much more influential.

  • yea i actually learned that recently lol

  • I thought he was a better bassist.

  • and lest we forget a great actor.."dont panic mr manwairing"

  • never heard of it lol

  • They're both great. Both are solid musicians who did a great deal of session work before Led Zeppelin.

  • Interesting

  • Dear God that awful early-80's hair and clothing.... LOL I had almost managed to forget that whole period until I saw this....

  • You have to get ALL his CD's. And never stop listening to them. It's the only way to survive in this modern era we live in.

With the best bands sounding only slightly better than the trash on "American Idol", bands like Led Zeppelin + Robert Plant actually have musicality and poetic soul.

I'm in the mood for a melody...

  • listen to stairway to heaven, if youre in the mood. it will do you good.

    really love my mothership album:)

  • i love when his hair is longer. he looks better. He is the greatest singer in the world

  • every time I read something that I agree with it's thetinybrat24. your are so dead on with robert.

  • I never followed his early solo career very closely. How well did he do?

  • There must be a lot of women on location if Plant has his unit hanging out like that! lol

  • he looks very weird on those pictures from 80's what was wrong with him? it's about hair or what? and the eyes...don't like it, I think he looks much better right now then in the 80's but still sound great:)Led Zep rulez

  • yea..he haas brains not like..retard emo today.

  • Robert is my favourite singer.

    + he is very intelligent.

  • this was a horrble look for plant,80's flash, yuppie gawd damn glad he got back to his hippie self after all!

  • Yep i second that.

Allthough it is not correct to call them hipies. I mean, they really had a lot of material goods and a "superficial" lifestyle and got everything they wanted. The total opposite of the ideals that 'real' hippies believed in.

But yes, their music was revolutionary and provocative and... alot of the kids in the audience were hippies.

But I know what you mean :)

  • Yeah, that weird 80's style just spread and spread it seems, what i meant by hippie was really the style of clothes, obviously living in a mansion with loads of cars and shit is against the ideals of hippies.Think he appealed to them though, well he did to my mum anyway! lol ciao

  • Jon Anderson had his hair like that at that time as well. I think those two have a lot in common - tops of their field. Yes even played Zeppelin songs - it would have been peculiar to hear Zeppelin cover Roundabout. I like that these guys were intelligent people. The music industry is so crummy right now it's scaring anyone with a brain right out of the business.

  • Yes covered Zeppelin? I'd love to hear this.

  • HOT!! he is awesome...

  • he's not him without his long long hair!

  • Everyone cut their hair in the early 80's even women

  • those 80s perms are hair poison

  • Robert Plant was a cool motherfucker, and what the fuck is this lol :D He fucked his hair up ?

Still a great singer tho (however I really disapprove the new country thing).

  • he did screw his hair up! damnit.. o well thats what the 80's will do to yah.. bring back the 70s!

  • It's a shame Donny (the interviewer!) isn't involved in Aussie TV anymore. He use to interview all the big stars and would always get a great interview out of them. This one with Robert Plant is exceptional!!

  • what the fuck hapenned here, he went from his long hair, sweet ass pirate moustaches and soothing voice to this mullet wearing turd....

  • The '80's happened

  • lol

  • Yeah nearly everyone got run over by the 80's lol! At least he got his brilliant hair back now.

  • Haha, Plant says "In Copenhagen" and the interviewer adds "Yeah, in Sweden" Lol.

  • Haha. I know!

But we Scandinavians have gotten used to people messing all the country- and city names up all the time

    Hehe

Dejligt med endnu Dansker herinde :D

  • It's amazing how Robert was able to make a solo career when he was in his mid-thirties and still make his music sound relevant and fresh. It's even more amazing that he can have a mullet and not look like an idiot. Robert is my fave.

  • he's so elastic!jaja

    Golden God

    Robert Plant for president

  • God dammit Robert! Close your legs!

  • hahaha....quit looking!

  • great clip.. thanks for posting!

  • Down with the mullet! Long hair 4 eva!

  • "Sing ok"?? This guy has one of the best voices in rock history!! Never heard anybody sound like him now or then... Give freedom back to artists you label fucks!!!

  • Godd!!he is so sexy..Love you Golden God!

  • heheh mullet! sexy!

    wooooo go aussie!

    was he ever on Countdown?

  • Lmao i doubt it.

  • Good God...an Aussie interview, awesome...makes me proud.

  • Thank you! Always a pleasure to see his interviews.

  • cool interview, open and honest!

  • o.O He got a haircut....

  • Plant is awesome...:)
